There are kind of expensive pet fees and deposits for such a run down place. The wooden trim is painted, I was afraid to use the shower here, I’m sitting in the bed now, wanting to shower but it’s gross. The outside of this place looks as if it’s abandoned, and they say they have room service but I haven’t seen a kitchen.  Even the window a/c unit, sits crooked. The mirror on the wall, sits crooked. The ceiling is painted..messed up? Look at the photos is all I can say. Even the microwave was un-useable. The towels given are not clean. The rooms we got both smell WEIRD. 

These are horror movie conditions.. I was afraid to shower the shower is so nasty.

The place is very clean and the rooms smell nice, I could not believe how clean this hotel is. Towels very clean, my room smelled like cinnamon. Staff is very friendly and I had the privilege of meeting the owner he is extremely nice person. On the property the have an Orthodox Monestary, very quiet and peaceful grounds. They have new flags and parking lot is newly seal coded. Thank you for making my stay pleasant. I must say when I was reading the bad reviews I can’t believe the lies of these people. This place I highly recommend. I am posting some pictures for all to see.

This is a great friendly and clean hotel the rooms smells nice and clean it was quiet even with the truck going by there is so many things to do around this hotel like going to the dam there is a dollar general right next to the hotel which made it easy to get drinks and snacks. Overall great place and easy on my wallet. I love how they are dressing the place up with flagpoles mulch

Ohhh boy, I don’t know where to start

The place smells like an old basement, the carpet inside my room was all stained.

There was no physical key to my room but instead there was an unchangable key pad on the door,  everyone from the staff knew it and when I requested my set my own passcode to the door during my stay because I appreciate my privacy I was faced with a NO!

I understand this is a budget lounge and I have to compromise for the value (money) which I wish I didn’t ,  but during my stay there was also a mice in my room that kept eating my food, and when I finally saw it, I requested help from the management  to kill it or refund me, and the answer was we don’t refund. Nevertheless, they killed the mice the same day. 

The bed and sheets smells like it has been used by someone else and were not washed before it was handed over to me. 

Lastly, I arrived in the summer of this beautiful city Saskatoon, so using the AC in the early afternoon could be a thing, but not in my room. The AC is full of dust and it smells really disgusting. I wish I could describe it, but I can’t!

Overall, would I come back again to this place? Absolutely NO!

Would I recommend the place? Only if you are on a very tight budget with no other options in the city!

Absolutely Love this ❤️ place! There is even a Christian Monastery right next to the property. One of the things that stood out to me the most is how quiet it is, even located on Hwy 6 across from Tru-Value Hardware I will definitely be staying here again!

Excellent value and great service!

Room smelled like 50 people had been smoking in it. Everything was very dirty.  Bedspread had stains on it. Ground in dirt in the carpet and floor. Bathroom smelled bad. Manager was nice but one of the worst places I've ever stayed 

Wouldn't pay $20 to stay here

Folks, I stayed here for 2 months and half. The owners are very professional and friendly. I stayed here while getting my house ready and never had any issues at all. This is a nice place to stay. By the way, if you are coming here to Warren for the Turn Around of 2018 at the refinery, I would recommend this as it is only a mile or less away from the refinery. Enjoy!

Good stay and cheap!

Not fancy but just fine 4 an overnite stay. Clean bathroom & crisp sheets on a comfortable bed. So affordable too.

Just Fine accommodations 

The Budget Lodge had everything we were looking for in a place to stay Labor Day weekend. It is the closest lodging to Kinzua Reservoir where we were fishing. The price was very fair - actually half the cost of other hotels in the area. Room was clean and there was outside power to plug in our boat charger. We'll definitely stay here again. 

Fishing trip

This is a place where you get what you pay for. It was neat, tidy and fairly clean. Just very small and dated. As we have family in the area we will probably stay here again. Not a bad deal for the money. It was close to town and local attractions. We would recommend people stay here.
