By far the worst motel I've ever stayed in.  Extremely dirty, bathroom shades were broken and a Budweiser box was jammed in the window as a "replacement".  Roaches in the bathroom, dirt in the shower, dead bugs on the window sills.  Room smelled terrible, deadbolt was broken like the door had been kicked in at some point.  My first impression open walking into my room was to jam my finger into the electrical box because there wasn't even a cover on the main light switch.  I'm no snob but this place is ridiculous, DO NOT STAY HERE!  Room 36 is like something out of Silent Hill lol.

WORST MOTEL I'VE STAYED IN

We stayed at the motel last night, and it was awful from when we got there.  The lobby was atleast 85 degrees.  They charged an extra $20 for two children, which put the cost at $90!  The vent in the bathroom was hanging down.  The worst part —— the shower drain didn’t go down!!!  Not only the drain, but also the overflow.  There was nobody around at any point to get it fixed.  Lots of rooms available, and we get this one?!?  I would have asked for a refund, but there was no one there.  They should be ashamed, and others should avoid at all costs.

Awful experience 

We often stay in older motels and have seen some pretty awful ones, but this one is quite nice. The room had a refrig and mircrowave and the WiFi worked. We had a non-smoking room.  It was small but adequate and the bed was comfortable.  If you are looking for a less expensive alternative to lodging in Gettysburg, this would be a good choice.

I stayed here for a week . The rooms are not clean and the cleaning couple just walk in your room and act like they can . The third day I noticed some bites . I at first thought I had got some  mosquito bites but when I realized that they wrapped the bed with Saran Wrap I knew what the bites where BED BUGS ! Room 36 I'm sure there are more!

Do not stay here !

This is an older motel that's been maintained and is clean. Our room had a coffee pot, microwave, cable TV and frig with WiFi available. Only about 30 minutes way from the Carlisle fair grounds and is very affordable. Restaurants and  fast food places are nearby and some are within walking distance. The delightful lady that owns it was friendly and extremely nice during our visit.  We will be repeat customers when we attend the car shows in Carlisle.

Although the non-smoking room was quite small, it was clean.  The biggest negative was the soft, sloping mattress.The manager was welcoming . It was close to our destination, the National Apple Harvest Festival in Arendtsville,  PA. It was also  located close to Appalachian Trail crossing, and not far from Gettysburg.
