Last night was my first night. The owner, Bob, was sooo nice when I checked in. Very flexible! This is a family owned property and I appreciate it way my than chain properties. If you are looking for something that is impersonal, stay at the chains.

Yes, the reviews are mostly correct but for the price, you can't go wrong. NO COACH ROACHES!!!!! Extended stay America (Airport road in Columbus, Ga) had roaches, loud parties, drug perifnalia on the breezeway and doors always slamming. Also, most delivery stores won't deliver there. Plus, the new management treats you like you don't matter. You are an income, not a guest that is paying to be there....
This place is a little antiquated and could use some updating, but safe and clean. I smoke and go outside without anyone approaching for sex or drugs!!!! I have stayed in places that were way more expensive and didn't feel this safe. I may not have a full kitchen but the frig is bigger than most.
Bob even gave me his cell number so I can call anytime. BTW, my cat feels safe too.
Don't pass this place up!

Super review

I stayed her for a week with my family and I will definitely come back. The staff was very friendly and cooperated with us. The bed was very comfortable and the room was newly remodeled. The price was definitely worth it!

Great stay!

My family and I were traveling from Florida, and Scottish Inn was right off the highway, so we decided to stay there. The room was very nice and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Will definitely come back! 

Amazing stay, felt safe

Its an older hotel, near the highway, clean and very friendly staff. Ask for Bob. Good for a night while passing through the area. He was helpful even when we reached there late at night hardworking staff.

Old hotel, great staff

This is a very old motel that has seen much better days.  Building needs a complete rebuild.  Furniture is old and needs replacement.  Walls have paint issues, and the bathroom is a toilet and a tub that is very old, and not kept up.  Found hair strands on the bed sheet and evidence of roach activity in the room.  Continental breakfast is bare minimum at best, dry cereal, gas station style packaged pastry, coffee, and O.J. is it. Go somewhere else!

Poor Accommodations

We were only staying overnight, but still expected a bit nicer place.
Our door key wouldn't work so the person came and used the master key. So if we had planned to go anywhere we would always have to have someone open the door.
The breakfast was just cereal, small individual wrapped muffins, a fake type or water downed orange juice and bananas.

It looked nice online,but was pet friendly

I came from out of town for a funeral with my husband and needed a place just to crash for the night. Stayed here because the price was right, and when we pulled up all of our alarm bells went off. The place was sketchy from the outside (a mattress on the front grass, trash in front of some of the rooms from what appeared to be permanent tenants).  Checking in the clerk was barely understandable or clear. The room was a flashback to the 30's. Between the outside and inside of the room appearance, the noises at all hours, and some people wandering around, it wouldn't have surprised us if Hannibal Lecter himself had a room here. With being told Wi-Fi was available and what the password was, we did as told, and it didn't work. Called the front to let them know, and then the front clerk brought 3 other non-employed individuals into our room to tell us we weren't doing it correctly (which in itself was very uncomfortable), and trying to get them to leave was near impossible. After a horrible nights sleep here, going to check out was more interesting. Went to the front, and waited until someone made it up there to let us check out, same guy as the night before, showed up front barely dressed to check me out of the room, and still incredibly difficult to understand, my husband and I couldn't leave fast enough. Very unprofessional and advise everyone to find somewhere else to stay for the night, I'd highly recommend your vehicle or a cardboard box anywhere else.

I have never been to a more disgusting place in my life. We refused to stay here and the owner still charged us. There were holes in the bedding. The walls were smeared with something I don't even have words for. It stunk inside the room. The owner said he spent all day cleaning. I would rather sleep under my car. I was in the room under two minutes! We left and had to find another place. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO CATCH SOMETHING! It may cost you more than the nights stay!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PLACE

Worse place I ever went to. We booked 2 rooms and 2 double beds and of an extra 15 for 4th person. He gave us 2 keys both were to same room. We went inside it stinks, ants crawling all over bathroom floor walls and sink. Hot with no air. I went up there to get deposit back. He insisted on showing us other rooms. ROACHES were all over place. Bed spreads soiled. Do not go there. He refused to give our money back. If you still go see rooms before you pay! You won't stay. Oh and our parking spot has old tables and dressers in the way. Nasty place needs shut down. He didn't even give our 15 back for 4th person with 4 beds. 

Nasty stinky and a pure rip off. 

We were so not impressed and left and went to get another place even though the room was no refundable.  The rooms smelled very bad and the sheets were dirty. There was toilets and other old appliances sitting outside.  it was very "sketchy"  Do not make the mistake of staying here.
