We used this hotel for a stop over and were not disappointed. The rooms feel elegant and eclectic, and the views are phenomenal. The washer and dryer were very convenient. It’s also in the middle of the city and therefore in a good location. It’s only a bit noisy and you cannot fully block the windows, so from nearby buildings people could peek into your room. One more thing: There was no kettle in the kitchen, and I think that’s essential.

Posh experience 

We needed a place to stay for several weeks and this was perfect. Very walkable location in a beautifully renovated building. The staff was extremely attentive and always available to answer questions or give suggestions. The unit was nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The price was great too!

Home Away From Home

In Philadelphia for a week for a family visit and wanted accommodations that were upscale, had a great location and were well priced. Tried to stay with the Mayor or Cardinal but neither was an available options so we delved deep into The Net and found gold. 
Located right in the best section of Center City, in a totally renovated deco (former) office building, this one bedroom, 12th floor wonder had a full kitchen, small but adequate living/dining area, 2 large screen TVs, separate bedroom, nicely appointed bath and a washer/dryer. 
All amenities were high quality, the accommodations clean and the doorman and other services top-notch. Indeed, a small service issue was remedied immediately. Not a hotel at all but rather an apartment residence with several short term rental units. And the price? Only about 40% of  the four star hotels located two blocks. If in Philadelphia, run ahead and book these accommodations. I will accept your “thank-yous”.

Worth Way More Than the Price

I travel a lot and get used to different attitudes of the people who check you in. But this time it was something. 
We arrived on Sunday 8th of October at the Arch around 1:30pm. When we entered the girl (Lauren?) at the reception even before asking our names said the check in time was after 4pm. We said it was ok and that we wanted to leave our luggage until the room is available. She said the storage room was full of luggage of the guests who already checked out. Then she hesitantly agreed to check for a free space for our 2 suitcases. When I entered the storage room it was almost empty. So we managed to leave our luggage. Then I kindly asked her if there was any possibility that our room would be ready earlier than 4pm (we had a very long flight and were very tired) She just bluntly said it wasn’t possible because there was only one housekeeper. While we were talking the housekeeper came over and said the apartment would be ready in 1h time. We were very happy with that and went for lunch. We came back around 3:30pm and asked Lauren for the key. Again without even looking at us she said she didn’t have it and that check in is at 4pm. I tried to say that the housekeeper promised the keys by 3pm the latest but I got that she couldn’t contact her as her phone was off. By that point we were so exhausted to argue with her so we just sat and started to count down the minutes until 4pm. Right after that another guest arrived to check in. She told him the same story about 4pm. Then around 3:55pm she called him and gave him the keys from his room (she had it all that time!!!). And finally at 4pm sharp she called our name and handed over the key from our apartment (did she also have it all that time????). 
The apartment itself is very nice and quiet, everything works properly. 
Luckily we didn’t see Lauren the whole week of our stay. This woman in my opinion doesn’t have the right attitude to work in hospitality. She gave us a horrible impression. And she was representing The Arch. Not sure if I’d want to come back.
The rest of the reception/doorman team are very nice and helpful. 


The worst check in ever

Philly is such a beautiful city. Perfect for couples who want to explore and find their forever after place. I'm not an emotional or feelings person but this brought us together better than before. The room was great a mini apartment not with that little kitchenette but with an entire stove and range top a full fridge and all the right necessities that is needed and not wanted. The door man was great too very informative. Even the amenities were perfect a gym and a media room a pool would be nice but not necessary. We were near everything walking distance and if not uber was our best friend $3.80 rides who can complain. I will be returning to Philly in October or the terror behind the walls lol idk if my heart is ready for the fright but I'm going to conquer it. STAY AT BRIDGESTREET!

Tourist mode 

This could be a great hotel but the bed and mattress (room #608) were horrible. The mattress was bouncy and noisy, and the bedframe was squeaky. It could be fine if you sleep on your own but if there's someone next to you, you will get woken up as soon as s/he moves, turns and gets in/off the bed.
The AC was also not functioning correclty. It read 77F and I set it up to 76F for the night (1 F below, the minimum temperature change possible) and it was already too cold so for the whole week end, we had 2 options: hot and humid (AC off) or just too cold (AC on).
Last annoying thing, we were handled 2 keys with a fob to open the main door and a key tag that has the name of the hotel, the address and the room number written on it. This is not safe!

Otherwise, the neighborhood is nice, the building and the amenities look great and clean, and the staff at the reception are very friendly but it's all useless if I can't get a good night of sleep.
Change the mattress, tune the AC and get your customers electronic keys and this would be a great experience.
