I should’ve taken pictures before I left, but I really needed a shower and there was standing water in the bathroom tub, so I had to leave and find a new motel anyway. Scary neighborhood, absolutely terrible, crappy facilities. They ask for a $25 cash deposit before you check in, and then they hand you a tiny washcloth as a towel and a roll of toilet paper to take to your room.

The WORST motel

We had a reservation for this motel, somehow we did not check tripadvisor before which we deeply regret, so our expectations were not high but we could never in a million years have expected what this motel was like. 
At first we arrived at a gas station near the motel and several drug-addicts approached us asking for money. Even tough it was in the middle of the day the store at the gas station was locked and we could not get in to pay for our gas. 
Then we took off for the motel. As we closed in on the destination we started to feel quite anxious because of the enormous mass of homeless people and drug-addicts hanging around by the street. When we got to the motel we saw people doing drugs right outside the rooms. We felt unsafe just sitting in the car so we did not even get out but drove past it and quickly decided that we did not want to stay at the motel. Then we stopped at a parkinglot to try to call the reception and tell them that we could not stay the night even though we had a reservation and asked for a refund. The woman we got in touch with could not answer our question and said she would get back to us after she had talked to her manager. She did not call back. We called several times, but got no answer. 
We ended up in another hotel in Scottsdale which was a really nice area. 
DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL!

Unsafe and scary

I could not stay here!  The police were out investigating and would not allow me to enter the property.  They told me they were doing me a favor.  As I was waiting, I was looking for another hotel, a lady came out with two kids and was trying to get a refund from the front desk.  She said there were needles and bullet holes in the wall.  While we were waiting for the front desk, she let me look at her room and a cat that came out from under the bed. Needles were thrown on the floor and the sheets had blood.  The police entered saw and walked out.  That was enough for me not to stay!  The front desk would not refund my money and said he had a lot of trouble with guests.  He looked like he had gotten into a fight.  Do yourself a favor, DON'T STAY HERE!

Craziest hotel I have ever seen and gone into!

You do the math this is dope infested selling drugs in front of the office I thought I was In the chi [chicago] please close it down the rates and amenities aren't there false advertising and can't find coorperate number the manager there says he gets into fights just too challenge the youngsters and he got bruses on his face to prove it my husband and I didn't ask for that conversation he volunteered then we had to use out of state id's from what management said to keep down the locals .but that's all that was there hanging out like an apartment complex in LA

The sign out front says this is a Knights Inn (Not Payless) but the address is the same. We flew into AZ a day early. No other hotels within 20 miles of Sky Harbor were available.  When checking in, we were asked if we wanted the remote control for a 20 dollar deposit - that should have been our clue of what we were in for.  When we got into the musty, dirty room, we knew we had made a bad choice.  There were roaches in the bath tub, white mold in the AC/heater, 4 out of the 5 bathroom light bulbs were missing, wires jutting out of the wall where the smoke alarm should have been, and the floor and chair were stained so bad they were disgusting to look at.  By 7:30 am (and a sleepless night)we were out the door. Our previously booked hotel took mercy on us and let us check in by 10:30am.  Our friends later told us we were in a terrible part of town.  Literally, the worst place I have ever stayed.  The airport floor would have been cleaner.  Wyndham should rethink having their brand associated with this place.
