We were forced to stay overnight in Phoenix because of AA "maintenance issues." We picked this motel as it was cheaper ($200) than others nearby. We booked a non smoking room. It REEKED of old smoke. The bathroom was gross, spider webs, holes in the wall, bathtub disgusting, fixtures loose, bugs in light.. Mattresses old and lumpy. Faucet loose on the wall. No garbage can in room. Curtains smoke and burn damaged. See photos Be warned.

I have gone to motel 6 a couple of times and i have never been assisted so kindly with respect as if i was a friend and not just a customer. Nikki, is a very helpful and friendly front desk person i’ve only met her twice and on the second visit she recognized me from the first time i seen her and still treated us with the same respect and fun attitude. She made sure our stay was good and cares about her customers. thanks Nikki! :)

RUN from this brand and location! I had a confirmed reservation for Saturday & Sunday 3/27 & 3/28/21 in Phoenix, Az. I listed my tentative arrival time in my booking. When I arrived at 10pm to check in I was told they over booked and canceled my reservation without ever notifying me. Since it is spring break and all the things going on in the Phoenix area every. single. hotel. was booked included those in the outskirts of the suburbs. Me and Booking.com CS spent HOURS looking for a room. By 1am booking CS told me I would just have to drive from hotel to hotel and ask of their availability.

 Once Booking.com reached the Motel 6 and the location confirmed they over booked they canceled my booking online so I’m not able to leave a review on the Booking.com site to warn others. I wonder how often they do this since once the reservation is canceled you can’t leave a review.

I’m traveling alone and was forced to sit in my vehicle in a McDonald’s parking lot until 2AM when I finally found a hotel that had 1 room available for $800 per night. This was an incredibly dangerous situation this company put me in all so they can make an extra buck just in case they have a cancellation. 

What if that happens to your wife or daughter? How do you feel about them possibly having to sleep in their car alone because this hotel overbooked? RUN from this hotel!! There are plenty of other economic options when traveling for business or whatever. Businesses like this deserve to go under.

Sh*tty company!

Dog or cat crap in the stairwell for days, will not come back not will recommend to anybody.
Disappointed about the cleaninnes.
Needs a good manager to take care of this place.
The don't clean the rooms.

Review

I understand that Motel 6's are budget offering, however, this place desecrates the term "budget." There were cigarette holes in the bedspreads of our "non-smoking" room, not to mention smoke residue filled the air. The toilet barely flushed, there were several dead cockroaches in the overhead lighting fixtures. The phone was crusty with filth. If it weren't for the very late hour and the fact we already had driven12 hours we would have gone somewhere else. We slept on top of the covers in our clothes! AVOID THIS PLACE!

A Park Bench is a Better Option

Independently owned and operated hotel that is transitioning. Friendly staff that upgraded our room without any prodding. This hotel is in the city and nearby everything you could want to get to.

You are not allowed to have visitors. The hotel decides when you can have visitors. They will threaten to call the police"in 2mins" if you visitors do not leave. The motel does not treat you professional. Instead of calling you room asking your visitors to leave do hours they Threaten with the police. This i found very unprofessional. I felt as if we were treated as criminals or trespassers. I would have thought any Visitors Polices should be expressed prior to making reservations. "also not everyone that rents a motel in that area is bad!

Worse Customer Service

The Manager at location 24/Jefferson Phoenix is rude. Very unpleasant woman. She called me names on my stay of Monday June 12, 2017. I reported to the Front Office Staff  problems with hot water in the shower not been hot and I said please check on the water heater as soon as possible. The Front Office Staff said "there is no water heater" which is not the correct answer..  I hope the General Manager read my complaint about the unprofessional behavior of the woman Manager at this location because she likes to insult people and is not doing her job.

Poor Management

Stayed two nights.  On second night, 45 motorcycles took over parking areas with yelling, racing engines, loud music, profanity most of the evening/night.  Management was unable/unwilling to do anything. Ruined my trip and I left Phoenix without even staying for the baseball game I came to see.

Overrun with motorcycle gang

We had booked one night at this hotel on arrival, and we were happy to leave! When we got to the room, a smell of old or cigarettes, in short, horrible, we went back to the reception, no other rooms, but we were given fever; and we bargained for free wifi that was paid; we still managed to sleep, despite a bit of traffic noise; our room didn't look at all like the photos on the site, I think it must be old rooms....
