Tired looking. Very small parking lot. Not at all what we were expecting to see from what we saw on web site. Hard to get in and out of parking lot when you there is more than 4 cars in lot. Lots of clutter around. Room very nice. But for what we paid a night we should not have to fight to park. Not pleasant to the eye. Room was cramped to much stuff in room

This is a great hideaway right on 260 about a half mile from Charlie Clarks Steakhouse.  The property is surrounded by tall pine trees and there are lovely gardens spread out through the property to sit and enjoy wildlife.  Excellent location near restaurants and stores.  The owner is a lovely lady whose meticulous attention to details shows her pride in her property.  Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet - even with the highway out front.

Quaint & Comfortable Mini-Cabin Experience!

We had a wonderful 2 day get-away from the Phoenix heat. The hotel is very quaint and comfortable.  It is also conveniently located.  Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.  There is a small fridge to keep beverages cold and a microwave to make a late night snack while watching TV.  And outside is a fire pit so you can make s'mores and also a charcoal grill.

Quiet get-away

We found a nice deal posted with Groupon for "The Mountain Haven Inn" in Pinetop, AZ .. How fortunate for us to take advantage of this offer & go explore & discover Pinetop. The INN was exceptionally nice with wonderful personal touches & unique decor -- making it feel just like home !  Built in 1966. -- This Inn is not your normal  motel chain as the owner/inn-keeper "Donna" was so personal with her daily greetings, service & welcoming smiles. --She directed us to very close-by hiking trails & picnic areas at "Woodland Lake Park" & close  "Hon-Dah Casino" for free comedy show entertainment ... The room we stayed in was # 3 "The Cottage". Decorated with lots of thought to make this room satisfying to visual as well as comfy including microwave, small fridge, coffee pot, and More . -- Each of the 10 rooms are decorated with a different motif ! Donna's beautiful brown lab is also a plus adding a little home-style feeling to the grounds. --Comfy chairs, tables, swings, & a hammock adds to the front areas.---  I would recommend "Mountain Haven Inn" to anyone who desires a relaxing, enjoyable experience, & friendly atmosphere, in a beautiful pine tree - mountain area. 

 A gem in the mountains !

Every room has a different theme. The decoration and amenities are excellent. We had a real 10 cup coffee maker. Beds are very nice with extra pillows and comforter. Located across the street from a very nice park (Woodland lake park). We really enjoyed the room, the owner (Donna) and her chocolate lab Faith. A real gem in the pines.
