Came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with my boyfriend and our dog. We stayed at the Ironwood cabin. We have a husky and really wanted her to see the snow for the first time and this place was perfect for us. They were so accommodating to her and there was still so much snow for her to play in. It was absolutely worth it and I’d love to come here once a year now. 

Favorite parts of our stay:
-Hot tub in the bedroom 
-Skylight over the bed to see all the stars at night 
-A swing outside the cabin 
-Homemade pastries and juice delivered daily 
-A grill + fully stocked kitchen 
-Fresh spring water on tap 
-Dog treats, towels, doggie bags, and a bowl provided 
-Dog friendly hikes onsite 
-Free sleds to borrow from the owners 

Tips:
-You have to drive off road once you get to the ranch. We had an SUV with 4 wheel drive but probably wouldn’t have made it up the hill to our cabin without it
-My boyfriend didn’t have service (AT&T) but I did (Verizon). Either way we really enjoyed being unplugged for the weekend
-Don’t bother bringing bottled water because the water on tap is even better 


Perfect for Couples with Dogs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  A great place to relax, with plenty of opportunity to walk outside the cabin and enjoy hiking on the PCT, biking, star gazing and endless adventure. The cabin has a jacuzzi tub, deluxe double showers and is fully equipped. The hospitality is exceptional! The owner brought delicious fresh baked goods each day too!  Also, a great place for your dog.   

Heavenly experience

My wife and I wanted a romantic cabin in the forest for our 20th anniversary, and a Cienaga Creek cabin was exactly what we needed. When we arrived at our cabin, everything was clean and in order with some nice touches, like the the fresh-baked cinnamon rolls. The cabin is both elegant and rustic with a friendly style that makes you feel at home. With the fully equipped kitchen, we liked bringing food home to cook on Saturday night instead of going out to fight the traffic. The hot tub in the bedroom was worth the wait filling it up and our bed was very comfortable. Mornings, really enjoyed sitting on our porch, watching the nuthatches and the squirrels. The cabins are not too close together, giving you more privacy than other cabins we have rented. Although out in the wild forest, you are safe and comfortable. The stars at night are very bright, showing the Milky Way overhead, even with the moon out. With our little telescope, we could see the globular cluster, M22 in Sagittarius. Overall, a great weekend. We just wish we could have spent a whole week there. 

Sublime and Romantic

This 50+ acre pet friendly wilderness ranch with its private, luxurious, romantic cabins is the perfect getaway from life in the fast lane. The property abuts the Pacific Crest Trail with beautiful wilderness hiking for as long a hike as you want, and is less than 1/2 hour into the town of Big Bear where you have wonderful restaurants, a lake and downhill mountain skiing/snowboarding in winter. It is a family run business where the owners treat you like family.

Escape to Tranquility

This is a fantastic weekend getaway from LA, just 2.5 hours from the city. It’s very dog friendly, which is a huge plus. The cabins are very, very clean and incredibly nice. No cell phone service, so you’re truly off the map and one with nature. The cabins are spaced well apart so you really feel alone in the woods. Really unique place, 5 stars!!

Amazing LA getaway

It has everything you need to have a wonderful time.. place is very clean everything works outside is beautiful surrounded with pine trees and so peaceful is just perfect..
I do recommend cienega ranch 100%
