I love the ease and convenience of this motel.  This is a family owned,  traditional motel where you park outside your room.  For this trip, I loved that.  They were very accommodating to my well behaved dog.  I have stayed here before and the rooms are clean and functional, which is all I need when I am visiting my family in the area.  The rooms are always clean and the beds comfortable.

.....The Regency Inn Pittsburg Kansas is the kind of place we hope to find as we travel. Very good DOOR parking motels are hard to find in recent years but this one was just right.
Great location, very quiet, white glove clean and well furnished. Nice breakfast room with the basics, but down the road is a fantastic eatery named the Farm House that serves B,L & D...
We look forward to staying at the Regency Inn while attending big drag race events at Mo-Kan dragway.

Our kind of place....Very good DOOR parking motel...

Booked this last minute and have no regrets. Super clean rooms and comfortable beds. We checked in late at night and the front desk help was gracious.The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Perfect for someone just needing a place to shower & sleep. 

Perfect for what we needed!

Nothing fancy, but beds are comfortable.  Staff is nice. Place was quite. When asked for extra pillows they brought them within minutes.  Definitely will stay again if ever back in town.  Place was clean.

This motel is low-cost and no-frills, which is what I wanted.  My room was clean and functional, and the price was right for what I got.  The staff were friendly and helpful.  The motel is located in a safe area and is close to a number of restaurants and businesses.

Basic but Very Good

So disappointed with the "Motel".  They advertise as a Regency chain - certainly didn't live up to it's name.  They advertised items on their website but don't offer them.  No continental breakfast.  We had a dingy, musty, smelly room.  Had to prepay before you saw the room - no refunds.  We had to get airfresheners, lysol spray and lysol wipes to clean so we could handle the smell.  The drapes, shower curtain, couch all smelled musty and dirty.  The air conditioner was humming loudly the whole time. 
 Yuck!  Don't recommend.  Had to stay due to no other hotels available.

Dingy, musty hotel

This is a good place to stay if you just need a clean comfortable place to lay your head. Definitely nothing fancy. If you are picky or snooty in the least this might not be for you. The furniture is a bit beat up but everything seemed to be in working order. Air conditioner kept the room cool and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. There is a wooded area near the back of this motor lodge so you do wake up to the birds singing if you like that sort of thing. This place is also a great value. It was half the price of some of the other motels in the area.

Clean, Comfortable but Nothing Fancy

Nothing bad, but I would only recommend this place to someone whose budget was tight or if most places were full. If I could give a half star, it would get 3.5 stars.

The doors open on the parking lot and there was noise from the lot all night. Shower had good water pressure, but you stood ankle deep in water while showering. Very thin towels and soap which fell apart. Comfortable bed.

Clean and Functional but no treat

This motel was nothing extra, but it didn't have any significant negatives. The price was good. It's a pretty big motel, all on one level with doors opening onto the parking lot. One ice machine was broken and I had to walk quite a ways to find a working one, no real problem.

Just fine

The room was pleasant and very clean.  Very happy that it was pet friendly.   Easy in that one can park right at the door and all one level.   We often stay here when traveling with our pet. Excellent value.
