absolute WORST HORRIBLE FILTHY DIRTY place - booked online and got there and saw no other cars - got shown our room - filthy, carpet dirty, inch of dust all over, dark and smelly, bathroom dirty - Indian woman extremely rude - demanded my money back and got it - and took off from this hell hole as fast as we could -

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

Made reservations at the Holiday Inn Express, but they were not pet friendly.  Arrived at 4 pm and even though after cancellation time, the desk manager cancelled.  Went to the Comfort Inn and Suites, as well as, the Quality Inn and each was full.  Asked what was going on September 26, 2017.  Somethings about a "mystery bus", refinery workers, and generally the brush off.  As a last resort, we tried the Executive Inn southern end of town.  We couldn't find a place to park because all the pickup trucks with double wheels were over the line or parallel parked.  The room door was 2 inches above the sill.  The hot water was very hot, the toilet worked and the air conditioner worked.  They had a small refrigerator that froze any food placed inside.  The bar of soap was 2 inches x 1 inch, small hair shampoo and conditioner.  Lots of noise on the side street side.  We did feel safe with all the refinery workers around us with their big trucks.  We asked about where to eat barbecue and they sent us to the Rib Crib and it was an excellent recommendation.  The breakfast was exactly at 5:30 and the coffee was hot.  Actually, they presented hot waffles, orange juice, apple juice, two types of cold cereal, wrapped pastries, bread for toast...no fruit.  The price is $60 + $10 tax.  I did kill a spider in the bed as we were leaving.  The next stop for us in order to find a room was Tulsa, OK and we couldn't drive the extra hour and 15 minutes after a 10 1/2 hour drive from Colorado.  Maybe if you are unable to find a room, you could drive on to Stillwater, OK.

Stay as Last Resort

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past - because it is inexpensive. Prior to this visit, it has been okay considering the age. This time, I'm sad to say, it is not a very pleasant experience. 

First, the privacy curtain will not close all the way; there is no safety chain on the door; the shower curtain bar is bent and the shower curtain slides to the middle and will not stay closed.  It is cool and rainy, but the heat did not work. 

The biggest disappointment was this morning after I showered and was preparing to dry my hair.  The hair dryer did not work. I called the front desk and the lady who answered must have been asleep (what about the "free breakfast" - which is a joke in itself.  At any rate, she was not very pleasant. I informed her that the hair dryer did not work and she said there was no one here to look at it that I would have to wait.  I asked her what I was to do with my wet hair and she replied "I don't know". She added that I could walk down to the office and she would give me one.  It is 45 degrees outside and I'm not about to do that.

Additionally, when I looked online, the price was about $10 lower than the price I was charged.

What has happened to the professionalism and courtesy given to guests?  I am very discouraged with the management of this establishment.  I doubt seriously if I will stay here again.  I used to live here and have family and friends here. I am on a limited budget and cannot t afford the hotels on the north side of town. Hopefully, there is another hotel that is inexpensive but decent

I do not recommend this hotel.

Big Disappointments

Nastiest room I had ever stayed in...stunk like human poop..bed had dirty blankets, looked like sex fluids...dressers were broken...I should have kept the 59$ and slept in my car.light bulb was out..so I took it to office for a replacement..the lady couldn't put phone down...she said she would get one to the room...it never made it

Local male..needed a room for a night while house was getting repaired

Room contained a chair that would not hold you up. every time you moved it up, it would lower you to the lowest setting, Breakfast consisted of cereal (plain and colored Cheerios only), coffee, rolls (pre-wrapped and very small), milk, no fruit, nothing hot).

Lower cost with few rewardsols

The price online and the price for room when we got there did not match. It was more, the lady eventually gave me the online price. When I had to add another few nights a different lady was at desk and she proceeded to tell me that the price online was for full beds and not queens even though online says queen! So be aware of that! 
The room wasn't bad at all! Clean, no odor. The pool was out of commission though. Felt safe. Nice hotel for the online price of $50 for 2 queen beds!
