We really enjoyed our 2 night stay.  Our room was very clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is very quiet.  Breakfast was served in take away boxes but was still hot and very tasty.  The portions were perfect size.  They leave out cookies in the afternoon together with hot coffee or hot water for tea.  Overall, a very nice B&B in a good location.  We would stay here again.

Quiet, clean and comfortable B&B

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Gull Inn Bed and Breakfast.  The house has been beautifully restored and is very peaceful.  The attention to detail in the decorations and fixtures show that much love and care has been put into making this home into a relaxing getaway.  The breakfast was scrumptious and the room was very clean.

Meticulously clean and charming B&B

We arrived at 320p to find out they had canceled our reservation. Proprietor claimed our credit card did not go through. We had used Booking.com and had a confirmation code. The owner and his daughter were insulting and patronizing and implied it was our fault for not responding that morning to his phone calls and emails. We were hiking Hurricane Ridge with no service. We were outraged at how rudely we were treated. No attempt was made to find us alternative accommodation or provide a future stay.
Do not go here! Beware!

Proprietor canceled our reservation on short notice

This is a small beautiful inn that has preserved the Victorian heritage , we loved our stay here and  will be back again , the hosts are amazing and did everything to make your stay memorable  .. including shipping back a Fitbit which we forgot  !

A quaint home away from home

The bathroom was about as big as the room - great jacuzzi tub, although husband preferred a shower.  The breakfasts supplied in a box were very good and homemade, not a rubber biscuit.  The Blue Gull Inn was centrally located, however up a hill.  We knew there would be no AC, but fans were provided and the heat had not arrived yet so we were fine. Enjoyed it!

Very Comfortable stay

We found this charming B&B well-maintained, clean, cozy and adhering to all the Covid-19 protocols.  Check-in/check-out was contactless. Upon arrival, coffee, tea, hot water and cookies were available for the guests. It is located in a residential area with quiet streets. We had a restful sleep on a very comfortable bed. The room was spacious and the water pressure in the shower was great. Comfy bathrobes.  Due to the pandemic, boxed breakfasts were provided.  We sat on the front porch and enjoyed the warm piece of quiche, muffin & banana. While having breakfast, deer wandered through the nearby properties. After breakfast, we walked to the historic downtown area along the lovely waterfront trail.

Cozy historic home...

I have always loved staying here at Blue Gull Inn BnB, this was my third time.  It is a beautiful, old  historic home located in the  historic uptown of Port Townsend.  Each room is delightfully decorated and very cosy.  I stayed in the Angel Room this time, complete with an electric fireplace, an immense jetted tub, and lovely views from my second floor windows. Check in was very easy and the hosts were not only friendly, but available if I needed anything.  Right next to the afternoon tea and fresh baked cookies was a treasure trove of information on things to see and do.  My favorite was the Whale Watching Tour.  I love the location, I found Blue Gull Inn within fairly easy walking distance to the downtown where I found lots of interesting shops, restaurants and events.

Delightful Historic Bed and Breakfast Inn

Stayed for one night with my 14 year-old daughter. Cozy, really clean room. No TV which was fine. Great shower, robes, heat fan. Gas burning fireplace. Fresh cookies in the afternoon, always hot water available for tea. Super easy, contactless check-in and check-out. Never interacted with the owners, which is said, but totally understandable and necessary during a pandemic. Left around 8:30AM and was greeted by a boxed, breakfast with a nice, warm slice of quiche, banana and muffin. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Excellent Stay!

Enjoyed our 3-night stay immensely. Delicious breakfasts, responsive hosts, a lovely room, and a great location. In particular, the condition of the home's maintenance was tip-top--way better than most hotels we have stayed in.

Both of the owners made sure our stay met our needs. In addition to a great breakfast, we were told stories of the history of Port Townsend and given suggestions on what to do, where to drive, and places to eat. Good memories - thank you!
