Decent price and easy check-in. Just stayed one night and was too exhausted to find another motel. 
The room is in great need of a deep cleaning. Bed cover is old and dirty. 
There is mold in the bathroom and especially in the shower in the tile grout and around the grab handles. 
My shoes stuck to the floor, so I'm not sure what they Mopped with or if they just stirred the same dirt from room to room.

Price is good, room is nasty. Stay if you feel lucky.....

This place has no place in the hospitality business. Dirty rooms, stained sheets and a promise by front desk staff to lower the rate of stay(not). Joe Pesci once said “never go through the drive in”, that’s the service you get with promises. If your looking for a place to stay for the night, try sleeping under the under pass....probably cleaner, quieter and safer.......Not here!!!!!!!

Please sale the business

Rude employees, dirty room. No help with any issues. Non smoking room but smelled like cigarettes. Asked to speak with manager but was told they did not have one. If I could give no star or a half I would. These guys are the WORST!

Terrible customer service

Very nice rooms. Newly remodeled and nice, comfy beds. Clean restrooms. Highly recommend. Very friendly staff and help. Made our stay very pleasant. Broke down on highway headed to Florida. Easy to get to from interstate 65

Econo Lodge exit 181

We recently acquired a rescue dog and needed a motel that would take pets.  Econolodge did!  What a pleasant surprise!  The room was large, spotless and nicely appointed.   Much nicer than I expected. Great location and close to many restaurants.

Pleasantly surprised

The room was spacious and clean. We checked in at a late hour and the front desk was very helpful. It looked as though remodeling was going on for the guest rooms. The breakfast are was newly remodeled and very high class; all in whites and grays wtih VERY modern lighting. They were waiting for all of the breakfast equipment to be installed, but we had toast and cereal which was ok. Also, the front desk person on call made sure that the coffee was fresh!

Traveling Home

I stay in a hotel a few times a month for business. Sometimes I need luxury and sometimes I need lower cost. So I know typically what to expect from either extreme. As expected on this lower-cost trip, I felt that this hotel met my expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facilities seemed fairly well kept. Yet I needed to at least mention one thing for those preparing for a trip using a low-cost hotel. I'm used to carpeted floors in hotels, but I wasn't too turned off by the tile flooring in this hotel.  However, it was dirty enough, not to my eye, but enough to make my feet black. I noticed it when I got into bed AFTER my shower.  I should have worn slippers... You might think of that when you pack.  And, as expected, don't expect much from the breakfast bar. Again, it's low cost... knowing what to expect for the money, this hotel isn't too bad. I'll consider it again IF  I'm restricted by my business budget.

Exactly what I expected... for lower cost options

We stopped here late in the way to PCB.  Friendly, clean and nice for the money.  Manager went out of his way to be courteous.  Will definitely put this on our again list. Price was $50 a night less than others. We just needed to sleep for a few hours and it was great. Thanks.

We stopped here before our last track to Destin! This hotel is not the cleanest, I maybe got 3 hours of sleep! It smelled very old and dirty! It needs a lot of work! There were holes in the wall around the electrical outlets! And the coffee for the morning breakfast was like water! 
I guess in this instance you get what you pay for!

Definitely needs work

We stayed here because the Quality Inn, that you could literally hit with a rock from here, had a rate of DOUBLE what this place was.  We'd stayed at the Quality Inn before, fairly recently, but we weren't about to pay nearly $130 a night for the same place we paid $60 for less than a month ago!  Both Choice hotels, so we thought we'd give it a try.  Room was fairly clean -- not great, but acceptable.  A lot of deferred maintenance around this place -- could definitely stand some attention.  Horrible towels (probably best for wiping your windshield the next morning, but definitely not for bathing).  TV took about 4 or 5 seconds to switch from one channel to another, which was somewhat frustrating, but not that big of a deal.  What WAS a big deal was the fact that you could hear every step and every movement from the room above us.  The owners of this hotel made the mistake of putting hard flooring in all their rooms, and for a facility that apparently wasn't very soundproof to start with, the flooring choice just made it worse.  Quite an anemic continental breakfast the next morning, but better than nothing.  I doubt we'll stay here again.
