Worst place I have ever stayed at, DONT LET THEM RIP YOU OFF!!!
My room was deplorable. The shower head was broken and flooded the bathroom, I had to clean it up myself. The heater has only an on off switch, no timer. Room was dusty and smelled like meth. The lock wiped my key card and left me outside in the middle of winter below freezing. Service was RUDE. Cost as much as a fancy hotel, 3 nights for 350? Wish I could give them negative stars.  DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!

DONT GO HERE!!!!!!

This is by far the WORST motel I have ever seen in my life. I booked this place through booking.com which by the way… NEVER book with them. They are so hard to get ahold of and not helpful at all. When I arrived at the motel, I was greeted nicely and got the keys to our room. When I got to the room… it was absolutely filthy and reeked of cigarettes. You could tell they didn’t even try to clean the room!! There was literally brown spots in the shower and human hair… I didn’t even touch the towels or linens because I was so scared of how long it had been since they were washed. There were stains on the walls and floors and the curtains were falling off the wall… I cannot believe this place is allowed to charge $268 for two nights!!! They should pay people to stay there because it’s absolutely disgusting. We didn’t even stay one night, we immediately booked at the quality inn next door which was amazing compared to the motel 6 dump hole. When I went to tell the gentleman at the front (who was nice initially) that I’m sorry but we do not feel comfortable staying here, can we please get a refund… he kept telling us it shouldn’t be a problem but to just cancel on booking.com and that his “manager” would refund in the morning. He didn’t even try to argue that the room was filthy! We submitted a cancellation with booking.com and waited for the next day for his manager to cancel. Fast forward to the next day, no cancellation was ever approved. I called the motel four times to speak to the “manager” and the employees kept sending me on a wild goose chase! One said the manager would be in shortly and would call me and another said he would call the manager and that he would call me right back. I called back again two hours after that and the employee once again told me that he just needed to call the manager and then the manager would call me back. Still no call or confirmation of cancellation email… two more hours go by and still no contact from this “manager”. I call the motel one last time around 4:30pm and the lady who refers to the manager as “EK” states that he has gone home for the day and that she would once again like all the other employees… take down my number and have him call me back when he got in at 6am the next morning. (Did I mention this is my birthday weekend and I’ve spent most of it dealing with this horrible motel!!!) 

Fast forward to the next morning… I call the motel and this time NO ANSWER. I’m under the impression that they probably recognize my number by now and are avoiding me. So at 6am!!! My husband and I drive over to the motel to hopefully speak to the manager in person. When we get there, the employee states he will call the manager to come right now to the front office. I felt so uneasy thinking about finally meeting this “manager” that has been avoiding my calls. The “manager” EK walks into the office… it’s the man who helped us the first night!!! He lied about having to speak to the manager, he was the manager all along!! He proceeds to lie and said he already refunded all our money and that he spoke to booking.com…. However I just received an email from booking.com not even 10 mins prior stating they have still not received any emails from the manager confirming cancellation. He just keeps shouting that we will receive refund in two business days… then finally says he can provide us receipt of the refund… but then prints it out and it shows he only refunded us one night. When we ask about the rest of the money… he says he needs to talk to the owner again to confirm that we didn’t stay there… we never even stayed in that motel room for longer than 10 minutes!!!! When we ask him to call the owner he says he can’t until 11am. Then when we ask him to confirm with booking.com the cancellation and he lies and said he already did! I call booking.com to have them speak to him… he tells them he will email them back right away and call him back in 15-20 minutes… they call him back to find out he “left and won’t be back for an hour”. This guy is absolutely ridiculous! 

At 11am, we called back EK and he said the owner would not refund us for the second night and claimed we stayed for "four hours" when we did not stay at all! This is absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I highly recommended NOT staying here. I reported how disgusting this place is to their corporate office and plan to write a review on every platform possible so that others do not stay here. 

For future guests… the manager is EK and is a short Indian man who dresses in t-shirts and backwards hats (not anything like you would think a manager would dress). 

I highly recommend staying at the quality inn next door! It’s actually CLEAN and the employees are friendly.

Filthy Crackhead motel

I have stayed in 100s of hotels. I will spend $50 to $400 on them per night depending on my expectations. I may be the easiest person to make happy. This goes down as my worst experience by a landslide. The advertised pool was closed for covid. It had obviously not been cleaned for months. And just FYI, the 3 previous hotels I had stayed in that week all had their pools open. And will all get 5 stars from me. I picked it for the laundry option, as I was flying home the next day. It was $5 to wash and dry 1 load and they would only give me $1 in quarters so no doing laundry. There was a sign stating there would be no coffee for guests at this time. The clerk was smoking with a group of people outside the entrance when we pulled up and then gaveusalong speech about smoking 25 feet away from the building. They insisted on copying all adults id's to stay. I asked why and got a very disjointed answer about safety and fires or something. There was a person running through the lot with no shirt or shoes. I saw him several times poundingon doors and ducking into bushes. And the reason we finally packed up and left after 45 minutes was because the dead bolt was busted off the door and I had 2 young girls with me. The clerk says he called his manager and was told he could not refund my money. $56 wasn't worth my time and cost them this review. Don't stay here. I'll never give motel 6 another dime, and I spend a lot on motels/hotels.

WORST HOTEL EVER

The motel has free parking. They have vending and a laundry room. There is a swimming pool, but it was closed due to COVID-19. My check in went quickly. The rooms have outside entries. My room was poorly designed--you had to climb over the bed to get to the air conditioner and there was only a small space for doing paperwork. I got a good night's sleep. I did not receive my requested wake up call. My check out did go without difficulty.

Budget motel in Prescott, Arizona

This is the first time I've been disappointed in a Motel 6, and I've stayed at many in several states throughout the years.  Very small rooms. Two outlets by desk area for tv, refrigerator (extra $$) and microwave (extra $$).  Yep, one has to get unplugged in order to use another, or two if you want to plug in a phone or computer.  Had to pull out middle night stand to find an outlet to charge cell phone. Splash molding falling off the wall in bathroom, laminate coming off desk area, one of the two double beds about 4 inches away from heating/cooling unit and the other up against the wall so you can only access the beds from the middle of the room.  Amenities are minimal and that's a generous statement.  If you have pets, the designated pet area is about 8' x 8', muddy and full of crap.  The front desk lady was nice but you could tell she has no authority to make any decisions.  I would have looked elsewhere we we're in the middle of a winter storm warning and had pets.  Didn't have the time to look around.  Stay elsewhere, learn from my mistake......


Don't, just don't

We stayed at Motel 6 last week for two nights and plan to stay again next time we are in town. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Sheila at the front desk is awesome and made us feel welcome and let us know if we needed anything to let her know. She also was able to make some copies for me in the office when everything else in town was closed. That is great customer service in my experience. It was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Prescott Motel 6

My family had a great Labor Day weekend in Prescott this year,thanks Motel 6!The room was cleaner than I had expected and the staff was attentive and fulfilled our needs! The pool was unfortunately out of service but there was plenty of fun activities within walking distance. I'll come back on our next family adventure!

Motel 6 Prescott

I called motel 6 Prescott directly. Asked about room condition and if it was renovated. Was told the rooms are all renovated. Beds also new. Reserved a room and received email confirmation with correct details and price. 

Got to hotel. Gave name and I'd and credit card. Received receipt for 407.93!!! For a confirmed room one person and one night for 131.13 Inc tax. Asked for refund of difference. They said that I needed to call Expedia?!?!  Why as I had only call them. They said out of their control. I was persistent. Said I would go to the room and then return for refund. The room was a disaster. Puddle of water on bathroom floor, uncleaned counter in bathroom. Super old bed. Paint chips all in front of the room. 

Went to ask where the rooms with new beds were. Told only 3 rooms have new beds and they sent staff to see room mess. They cleaned the bathroom and then started to sweep up in front. Continue to argue over refund amount. 4th time the provide correct refund. They say they refunded whole amount as they felt the room did not meet my expectations. Motel 6 should stop by unannounced and have a look. This place was simply horrible. 

Horrible

We checked into this Motel on Saturday June 27 for a 2 day stay. On Sunday my wife and I went out shopping and upon return discovered our home had been locked out.
My wife went to the front desk as I am handicapped and walk with two crutches.

When my wife went to the front desk she stated that she was treated like a street walker, and they would not allow us into the room until i came down. They took my wifes driver license and would not give it back to her. Management was yelling at her and treating her like sh_t.

When my wife came back to where our truck was parked she was in tears. 

When I went down to the office I was treated the same way as they treated her. After we finally got back into the room we had some time to calm down, then we decided not to stay at a Motel which treat customers like crap. I attempted to call the front office, no one answered the phone. i told the desk we were leaving and they could double the rent for that night from street urchents. There was several people in the back of the motel including motel employees working on a broken down car and an old inoperable class C motorhome.

We stopped by the front desk on our way out and gave them the keys and advised them we would never be back to a Motel 6. After spending over 30  years as traveling members of society and staying at Motel 6's if there wasn't a Red Roof INN as we always travel with our dogs.

WE WILL NEVER BE BACK TO A MOTEL 6.

Poor treatment of customers

This hotel is a disaster.  When I talked to the person at the front desk about the smoke smell in my room- Sheila was rude and not helpful.  I then asked to see a manager, and she- I am told Ashley is her name- refused to speak with me. They refused to switch my room, so I asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else as I could not stay in that room with my asthma.  She supposedly processed it, but I ended up being charged for the night anyway.  I then had to call to have the charge reversed and they tried to tell me I had stayed there. Again the manager refused to speak with me.  Ridiculous, dishonest, and not professional.
