Awesome unexpected retro space. Loved all the details and thought that was put into the individual rooms. The beds were comfortable and there was the Edison which had great coffee across the street. Will come back again! Great attention to color and visual space.

Great design and furnishings!

We stopped in Prescott for one night en route.  The room was small, but so efficiently designed that we didn't feel cramped.  Every room is decorated differently.  We were hesitant at first thinking there would be road noise, but it was quiet.  Parking is beside your room.  The room was clean and comfortable.  We would stay at The Motor Lodge again or if not available, one of the other properties owned by the same company.  Our check-in and check-out was done in a pleasant manner.  The town of Prescott is clean and interesting.  We easily could have spent more time there.

One of a Kind and Perfect

We decided upon this place because we love the feel of the old fashion motor lodge.  The rooms even have adjacent covered parking.  We had room #6.  King (tuff&needle) bed. Very comfy.  In room coffee.  Good TV & internet reception.  Can’t complain everything was well thought out for your comfort.  
We would not hesitate to stay there again

Old school, quirky comfortable place

Best little funky hip hotel in Arizona. You can’t beat the staff or atmosphere here. 
We come to Prescott and always stay at The Motor Lodge. Various size rooms with that old motel feel. Love sitting out on the porch and making new friends. Thanks for another gat stay Mark!  We’ll be back again as always.

Best funky hip motel In Arizona!

A nice, cute, very clean boutique retro motel. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful with us. If you like a quiet, laid back vintage style room then this is for you. A little throwback to simpler times. Just down the street from whiskey row. Our room had a patio and carport to park in.

Boutique Motel

We've been coming here twice a year if not more more over 11 years, we love this place. There are new owners now, however they've kept the charm of the place. This weekend we met Austin (he's new since last fall), he was completely delightful and a great addition to the Motor Lodge family. Great location and a short walk to the square.

Great place to stay in Prescott - best of both worlds

This room was adorable.  I believe it was called the hide away or hide out.  We were greeted with friendly faces and taken personally to our room.  A beverage is offered at check in, and we got delicious cookies when we checked out.  The beds and pillows were both very comfortable.  I would definitely recommend.

Adorable room, and great service!

We love this place and would return anytime! It is so quaint and definitely not a boring cookie cutter hotel. Staff helpful and fun and the rooms are all fun too! Bed was more comfortable then any Marriott or Hyatt I have stayed in last few years and the bed is what matters on the bottom line. We were there when was some hail (snow?) was on ground but didn't notice till we looked outside as was toasty and warm. Wine and gas firepit in the afternoon was lovely.
And just to give a somewhat non-bias and informative opinion I would want to say it is not a hotel for everyone (like my sister-in-law)  :) who prefers lots of amenities and room service.  I think the only thing I would say as a downside is the shower in our last room was fairly small.
Again, I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mark and other staff! And kitty too!

A Favorite!

The Motor Lodge is a true gem.  Great hospitality, very clean, adorable room with adequate space and lots of special touches.  The decor is fun and quirky in all the best ways!  Each room has a an open porch in front, and there are communal fire pits that are super cozy.  We were in room #3 and had covered parking and a fireplace - the bathroom is tiny but sufficient, bed was comfy.  Mark could not have been more welcoming, with recommendations for dinner and breakfast and  an arrival beverage and fresh baked cookies as we got on our way the next day.  We’ve been driving cross country for 5 weeks, and the Motor Lodge stands out.  I would very happily stay again.

Standout lodging in Prescott

This has to be one of the most unique and enjoyable places to stay in Prescott.  From its eclectic design to large and comfortable room, this is my new "go-to" place in the Prescott area.  Online booking was a breeze and check-in was quick and simple.  The on-site manger (Mark) provided email communication to let us know our room was ready early.  A complimentary beverage upon arrival and fresh-baked cookies upon departure was also a nice treat.  We were in the Vegas "Star Dust" room and the amenities (comfortable King bed, large bathroom, frig, etc.) were great.  We really enjoyed relaxing on our personal patio in the evening, enjoying our beverage.  Thank you, Mark, for a wonderful experience.  We will certainly be returning.
