Awesome unexpected retro space. Loved all the details and thought that was put into the individual rooms. The beds were comfortable and there was the Edison which had great coffee across the street. Will come back again! Great attention to color and visual space.

Old, run down, feels dirty (The carpet is 🤢)
 Lacking basic features like black out curtains and adequate outlets. Every room is laid out differently but mine had a ridiculously narrow and small bathroom. I’m not a big person at all and I couldn’t lift my arms above my head without banging my elbows on each wall. The road noise is loud and sheets are scratchy. Not every room has a security lock either. They advertise as being walking distance to whiskey row. But it’s not just outside the door. You have quite the jaunt. Really the only appeal of this property is the kitschy aesthetic if you care about that stuff. However, if you value comfort and a good nights sleep over a Instagram photo then definitely go elsewhere.

Leave the past where it belongs

We stopped in Prescott for one night en route.  The room was small, but so efficiently designed that we didn't feel cramped.  Every room is decorated differently.  We were hesitant at first thinking there would be road noise, but it was quiet.  Parking is beside your room.  The room was clean and comfortable.  We would stay at The Motor Lodge again or if not available, one of the other properties owned by the same company.  Our check-in and check-out was done in a pleasant manner.  The town of Prescott is clean and interesting.  We easily could have spent more time there.

One of a Kind and Perfect

We decided upon this place because we love the feel of the old fashion motor lodge.  The rooms even have adjacent covered parking.  We had room #6.  King (tuff&needle) bed. Very comfy.  In room coffee.  Good TV & internet reception.  Can’t complain everything was well thought out for your comfort.  
We would not hesitate to stay there again

Old school, quirky comfortable place

Best little funky hip hotel in Arizona. You can’t beat the staff or atmosphere here. 
We come to Prescott and always stay at The Motor Lodge. Various size rooms with that old motel feel. Love sitting out on the porch and making new friends. Thanks for another gat stay Mark!  We’ll be back again as always.

Best funky hip motel In Arizona!

A nice, cute, very clean boutique retro motel. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful with us. If you like a quiet, laid back vintage style room then this is for you. A little throwback to simpler times. Just down the street from whiskey row. Our room had a patio and carport to park in.

I stayed at the Motor Lodge what a neat place,there is something that catches your'e eye everywhere you look. The staff is Amazing feels like family. On the other hand room was hot during the day & the kitchenette was a disappointment as it doesn't work, it's only for looks. Everything else was Amazing

My 4 day stay

We've been coming here twice a year if not more more over 11 years, we love this place. There are new owners now, however they've kept the charm of the place. This weekend we met Austin (he's new since last fall), he was completely delightful and a great addition to the Motor Lodge family. Great location and a short walk to the square.

Great place to stay in Prescott - best of both worlds

This room was adorable.  I believe it was called the hide away or hide out.  We were greeted with friendly faces and taken personally to our room.  A beverage is offered at check in, and we got delicious cookies when we checked out.  The beds and pillows were both very comfortable.  I would definitely recommend.

Adorable room, and great service!

We love this place and would return anytime! It is so quaint and definitely not a boring cookie cutter hotel. Staff helpful and fun and the rooms are all fun too! Bed was more comfortable then any Marriott or Hyatt I have stayed in last few years and the bed is what matters on the bottom line. We were there when was some hail (snow?) was on ground but didn't notice till we looked outside as was toasty and warm. Wine and gas firepit in the afternoon was lovely.
And just to give a somewhat non-bias and informative opinion I would want to say it is not a hotel for everyone (like my sister-in-law)  :) who prefers lots of amenities and room service.  I think the only thing I would say as a downside is the shower in our last room was fairly small.
Again, I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mark and other staff! And kitty too!
