This inn is in a really lovely location — the best location in town. The breakfast is really good. Contrary to some other reviews, we found the service to be friendly and terrific. The only thing I wish I’d known was that the “garden level” rooms really feel like you’re in a basement (at least ours did). I think room selection is key at this inn. I’d go again, for sure, but if all they had left was rooms on the “garden level,” I’d pass.

My wife and I stayed at the Land's End Inn in late June for our first time.  Even before we left, we were thinking of when we would return.  The ownership of the Land's End seem to keep every detail carefully considered well attended.  That's no small feat for an inn this large and old.  There is something interesting nearly everywhere you look inside.  To keep it all so carefully arranged and spotlessly clean is simply amazing.  The exterior in June is stunning with nearly every bush and plant in full bloom.  It may be hard to believe, but it was even more beautiful than the promotional pictures.  I could barely spot a single weed in the gardens.  Coupled with the hill-top views of the bay, ocean, and town - it looks and feels like paradise.

We stayed in the Tiger Lily room, which was perfect for us.  I wouldn't try to fit any more than two people in this room.  We had a nice balcony with a westward view of the bay.  The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was immaculate.  Even though it was small, the bathroom was roomy enough.  They do a good job of making the most of the space they have to provide you places to put your belongings.  We had no issues at all with noise from other guests that is mentioned in other reviews. Maybe it was because our stay was Sunday to Wednesday and it was less crowded.

I thought the location was close to ideal.  We didn't want to be in the center of town with the commotion at night.  The Land's End is realistically about a 15 minute walk away from the more active parts of Commercial St.  Not bad, but it might be challenging for someone with mobility issues.  Bikes are a great idea, but you need to be careful as you're heading against the one-way oncoming cars on the narrow street.  Management sent directions on how to find the "back door" to the inn, which is well worth paying attention to.  It's a good idea to just park the car and forget about it for a couple days.  Herring Cove beach is just a few minutes away and easily bike-able.  Same thing with access to bike trails.

The breakfast was nice.  I would consider to be a step above normal continental breakfast, with a small hot egg dish available each day.  There's also the daily happy hour for guests.  We only participated one night and found it to be a nice touch.

Finally, the management and staff were fantastic ... friendly and very attentive.  You can tell they enjoy being there and doing what they do.

Already looking forward to our next visit

We have come here many times over the years and Land's End has always been one of our favorites. Coming back for the first time since the pandemic, we were interested to see if anything changed with the new owners.  They seem very nice and some things were cleaned up nicely on the property, but I think they're missing the mark with their Chalice wine bar. The concept/history of it makes sense, but the thing we loved most about Land's End was it's peaceful serenity away from downtown and the bar scene. A happy hour one or two nights a week for a couple of hours might be fine, but FOUR nights a week for FOUR hours? We had to spend every afternoon and evening of our trip watching random parties drinking on the lawn, staring into our windows, and taking pictures in front of our patio. So much for peaceful sunsets on the hill... This is a VERY expensive place to feel like we had no privacy or quiet for the majority of our stay. We really want to come back, so I hope the new owners reconsider their guests' needs more than the benefits of a cash bar and reduce the happy hour time.

Great inn, but losing some of the relaxing getaway feel it once had.

We could not have picked a better stay to celebrate our anniversary the Lands End. The rooms were so finely decorated and the open areas it made you feel at home. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. The views from our room and the sitting, dining and breakfast area is amazing. The grounds are so maintained and picturesque. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful very fresh items. Not to be missed was the evening reception. Wine, plentiful, and quite a spread of vegies, cheeses...  My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here and Provincetown.

Amazing!

One of a kind. There is no other inn or hotel like this, anywhere in the world. The people who work here- are so, so nice- and go above and beyond to accomodate and make guests feel at home. The view is lovely, the grounds are something out of a storybook. The breakfast each morning is great- it has everything you would need. So quiet and tranquil. The Lands End Inn is a gem.

OMG! I forgot to write this. We were here Nov  2018 for our anniversary. Thanks to my generous sister we stayed in one of the two best rooms. Just amazing. gorgeous furnishings and fabulous views. Great breakfast! Got to hear singer Alice Howe and Freebo at  cocktail hour. Quite a treat. The other guests were really friendly. 

It really made our 20 th anniversary so special. Everything about this place was wonderful. I am so sorry I forgot to write a review. Stay here and if you can afford it stay in one of the 2 best rooms. If not the other rooms are lovely also. You will have a fabulous time. I am sure it has gotten even better. Mmm

The most marvelous place we have ever stayed!

I absolutely adored the Land's End Inn. The views are stunning and the inn itself is so quaint. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfy and you can't beat the waterfront views from basically anywhere in the hotel! Our room even had a little patio which was great to sit on and enjoy some wine. The staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed the daily happy hour! The Inn is walkable to everywhere in town. I cannot wait to come back to visit again! 

LOVE the Land's End Inn! 

Beautifully furnished inn at far end of Cape Cod.  I loved the comfortable bed and room and exquisite decor.   But what made my stay so special was the friendly and helpful staff.  They made me feel at home.  It was delightful meeting other guests from other states and other countries.  Getting around by foot was easy.  The Pilgrims First Landing Park and Provincetown Causeway is a 15-minute walk.  In the other direction, the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum and commercial center is a 25-minute walk.

Beautiful in and out. Unfortunately we had 60 mph winds with driving rain during our stay. I could never have thought of a more gorgeous place to spend it looking out an oversized picture window at the tempest outside. Our only negatives were a small dark room and a more than unfriendly daytime manager. I'm not sure why they would have someone like that working in such an intimate environment. Oh well...

Beautiful 

Stopped by Land's End this past August while in P-Town for a look-see. Decided on the  spot to reserve the Bay Tower Room for our secret wedding destination in January 2023; just the two of us. The surroundings, staff and other guests were perfectly accommodating. The Inn and room were very well appointed. Everyone was kind and smiling. Views are over the top! Thanks to the staff for taking such great care of us and the complimentary bottle of bubbles; our fellow guests for kindly taking photos of our special event; and others for sending us dessert drinks during dinner at Mews! SO kind of everyone. A magical place! Highly reccommend!
