David and Jim run a fabulous Bed & Breakfast.  The rooms, all named for artists, are comfortable and spacious.  My room came with a private bath that was also quite large.  Christopher's is tastefully decorated with a quaint sitting room overlooking Johnson Street.  The courtyard in back is filled with beautiful flowers and plants and has plenty of tables and chairs for guests to enjoy their deliciously prepared breakfast.  Off-street parking is available in the driveway.  Aside from traveling to the beach, my car never left its spot.  Commercial Street is a short walk out the front door, and in less than five minutes you are in the heart of town.  I would highly recommend a stay at Christopher's by the Bay to anyone looking for a lovely, relaxing place to stay with incredible hospitality and close proximity to shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Charming B&B Close To Everything

Making a decision to travel during these uncertain and frightening times can be difficult choice. Some of us may have to travel, others may just want to see, even if for a long weekend, four "other" walls than our own.
We made the decision and chose Christopher's By the Bay in Provincetown and we are so extremely glad we did!
The owners, Jim and David, made us feel just as welcome as we had always felt staying there (pre-Covid). The guesthouse was, as always, that home away from home that we have come to expect.
The have put  safety measures into place to make each and every guest feel as if the choice to stay with them, was the correct choice.
From the cleanliness of the rooms, to masks, to the way they serve breakfast (you online and it waiting for you in the morning!) to the spacious patio area where you can relax and socially distance yourself from other guests, while still having that feeling that you are not alone. It's wonderful.
Jim and David outlined all of the precautions they were taking in the confirmation email, they reiterated them upon arrival, and made us feel 100% safe. All of the MA guidelines have been met.
If you want to travel and stay in a lovely place just steps from a beach, just steps from the main shops and restaurants, but also a place where you can relax and feel like. you are at home, there is no place better than Christopher's By The Bay. They made sure our safety and comfort came first. 
Check them out. It is possible to get away, if it's done right, and they do it right!

A "Safe" Home Away From Home

This was a lovely old home being utilized as a bed and breakfast.  The location is great. Near the ocean and the main part of Providence town.  Coffee shop at the end of one street and sandwich shop at the other end. Rooms are cozy.. We like the luxury of a private bath that was reflected in the price.  The breakfast buffet was ample and yummy.  I enjoyed some time in the beautiful courtyard flowing with flower, butterflies and a running fountain. A wonderful place to relax with a book and a glass of wine. The hosts were very cordial . Two thumbs up. 

Bed and Breakfast Escape

A very cozy and quaint B&B. The guys who run the place are terrific. They make you feel so welcome. I will definitely rebook for sure. Just a short walk from the pier and surrounded by plenty of restaurants.

Amazing Guys!

We spent 2 nights at Christopher's last weekend and really enjoyed our stay.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room was very quiet even though it was in the front of the house on the street. The whole place is very clean and breakfast was really good too! Great location. Would definitely recommend.

Very Nice!

The B&B is located right near the centre of town, with easy access to all transport, shops and restaurants. The whole place is nice, and the sitting room is particularly lovely should you need a night in or to hide from bad weather.

Dave and Jim were excellent hosts. The breakfasts were fresh and vegetarian-friendly (thanks, Dave!), while the local recommendations and advice were spot on (thanks, Jim!). Would wholly recommend to any visitors.

A lovely spot with a warm welcome

We had a wonderful stay at Christopher’s. Tucked away down a quiet side street and a short block to everything you want in P-town. Breakfast was fantastic every morning! Stayed on the third floor and had a nice bay view. Would stay here again. Parking was convenient too. 

Sweet and Serene

I have been coming to Provincetown for many years and always like to stay here.  The impeccably appointed but comfortable and cozy inn is not to be missed if you are looking for a welcoming and relaxing place to stay that is centrally located.   The proprietors Jim and Dave are extraordinarily friendly and extremely helpful in making sure your stay is as ideal and enjoyable as possible.  The rooms are of all different sizes and you are sure to find one that will meet your budget and space needs.  I found every possible amenity one may need is provided in each room - TV, air-conditioning, phone, refrigerator, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, bathrobes, and more.  The buffet breakfast that is served in the morning is wide in its selection of food that can be enjoyed indoors or outside in their outdoor garden. Be sure not to miss Dave's specially prepared dish he makes every morning.  And take advantage of Jim's available and friendly presence as he is always willing to make suggestions on how best to enjoy your time in Ptown.  Self-service afternoon liquor service is available but with all the other options up and down Commercial Street, few folks take available of this thoughtful amenity.   There is a front first-floor common room that is a great place to read a book or take on a puzzle.  A bike rack is provided to park and lock your bike.  You can't go wrong if you choose this place.  If they could control the weather, they would because their full-service approach is very appealing and comforting.  If you do, you will be like me and return to stay here whenever possible,
