We had a chance to stay at The Brasswood Inn early in the fall. What a great spot! The inn is beautiful and impeccably maintained with lovely common spaces, tastefully appointed guest rooms and super comfortable bedding. The front porch overlooking Commercial Street and the harbor front beyond it is a fabulous spot to sit with a coffee or a cocktail to take in the hustle and bustle of Provincetown passing by. Speaking of cocktails, the Bloody Mary with its distinctive Cajun flair was the best I’ve ever had, and paired with Tom’s homemade cheddar and chive biscuits, it made for the perfect late-morning treat! There is an absolutely lovely back patio complete with comfortable furniture and sails offering shade. A beautiful sanctuary in the busy heart of downtown.  The story isn’t complete without mentioning the innkeepers. Tom and Brian are just perfect for the role!  Their gracious hospitality is warm and welcoming.  Even with a house full of guests and a few four legged friends to boot, yes the inn is dog friendly, which is perfect for us, the innkeepers took the time to get to know us, and to share some great insider tips about P-Town.  If you’re looking for a great place to stay in the middle of it all go straight to The Brasswood Inn!

Fabulous Autumn Visit to P-Town and The Brasswood Inn

I've lived in Massachusetts for almost 30 years and this was my first time to P-town and I could not have picked a better place to stay. From the moment of booking and speaking with Brian over the phone I could feel the warmth and comfort that we truly experienced while staying at the Inn. The homemade breakfast is fabulous and very practical because you fill out a sheet of precisely what you want the night prior and then when you wake up it's ready for you. The rooms are cozy with gas fireplaces and  each one's dedication to an American musician is a unique touch, warmer than a sterile number. My husband and I and our three sons had four rooms for two nights and were in town for a family wedding. We found the Inn's location to be quite convenient and everyone working at the Inn to be very friendly accommodating. My husband and I are looking forward to returning for a weekend sojourn some time next spring or early summer. 

A Charming Getaway

The guys who own and run this inn are very hospitable and thoughtful, from advanced emails and calls to welcoming you upon arrival. Convenient free assigned parking.  Individualized breakfast offerings are tasty, brought to your room or in lobby, with beverages available throughout the day. Center of town inn, older place but well maintained. My room had a balcony as well. Compact ensuite bathroom but serviceable. mini fridge and tv in room as well and a comfortable upholstered chair too. They have excellent rates for being in the center of town close to everything. Very comfortable main floor lounge area and a very nice back patio for good weather sitting too, plus the front porch area is excellent for people watching on Commercial Street. It's the host's hospitality and thoughtfulness that would bring me back here again.

Excellent, hospitable stay in the center of Provincetown

The perfect place to stay when visiting Provincetown!  Perfect location, nice accommodations and genuinely friendly staff and owners.  Not only dog friendly, but totally welcoming to our pups.  I could not have asked for a better place for myself, Oakley & Peanut!  We will definitely be back!

Dog Friendly in the Perfect Location!

Location, hosts, breakfast and rooms all great. You can’t go wrong staying here for your Provincetown adventure! Sitting on the front porch, while sipping a cocktail or glass of wine and people watching can’t be beat. Oh, did I mention they have their own bar?

Wonderful stay in an iconic ptown home.

Great visit.  Private parking space provider just off Commercial Street.  Inn is across the street from Bayside Betsy's.  Short walk to Crown and Anchor.  Very clean.   Fantastic rate.  Tom and Brian were extremely helpful.   I plan to return when the weather is warmer.

A snowy weekend in Provincetown

We just returned from a weekend in Provincetown, where we stayed at the Brasswood’s Inn. Our hosts Brian and Tom were exceptional. Our booking was easy, checking, was easy and we really enjoyed our stay. We traveled with both of our chocolate labs, and they could not have been more accommodating. Complementary breakfast was excellent on both mornings, as was the cocktail social hour in the evening. It is clearly evident that the owners want to ensure that their guests are taken care of and enjoy their stay. We highly recommend the Brasswood’s inn for anyone  traveling to Provincetown. If you are traveling with your dogs, it’s even more reason to stay with them.

what a really nice place to stay. Brian, Scott & Tom were all great!.  Can't beat the location or the bar that's in the living room with cheap drinks.  Weather wasn't great so we hung out in the living room most of Sunday.  Highly recommended.  We already booked for Memorial  week

Great place to stay

I LOVE the Brasswood Inn! I love everything about it. Tom and Brian are the best at what they do. It is comfortable, it is clean, it is homelike. I was there for a retreat, which in itself was wonderful. The Inn made it even more so. I’m usually ready to go home at the end of an event but, in this case, I did not want to leave. I came back from this trip relaxed with my heart full and eager for the next time I can get there. 

Some details…breakfast was just so good. The scones are to die for. I loved my room. The porch is a great place to hang. It’s just all good. 

I could go on and on and on. Tom and Brian make you feel welcome. Even when you are talking their ears off (yes, that would be me). They are thoughtful and kind and just very cool. 

One last thing…if you are looking for snooty and fake, this is not the place for you. This place is real. It will leave you smiling every time you think of it!! Enough said.

Love the Brasswood Inn

Just returned from an overnight at the Brasswood and already looking forward to my return! There are so many things to love. It's dog friendly, the drinks from the bar was delish, the front porch is wonderful for relaxing, and it's centrally located. Not to mention the breakfast scones - what a treat. Perfect getaway in Ptown!
