We were traveling and called ahead for a late check in. They don’t check in past 8PM! We made arrangements with friends to get there to check in and when we called back they had assumed we wouldn’t figure things out and cancelled our reservation.

No late check in . Rude, rude people

Bad planning on my part left this our only option for one night  Would never stay in that place again..Dirty, smelly, generally run down property.  Booked through hotels.com so couldn't cancel..we would sleep in the car over this place

One night too many

Rooms are falling apart. Missing tile in shower area. Baseboards peeling off the wall. No microwave in room. No bathroom door. WiFi is nill to none in the room. Television reception is awful and with hardly any channels. Employees talking on phone outside the guest rooms in a very loud volume. Complained about being woken due to loud voice talker and was asked to leave the hotel. Very shocked. Floors were filthy.

Great value for a basic room.  Just a little more than a mile walk to fisherman's village.  Easy walk to restaurants also.  Ride share services are hard to find available in area.  I would suggest ordering a taxi the day before if you need a ride to the airport.

Vacation

After a long and exhausting day of travel, I arrived at this hotel with my husband and baby. We were turned away by an extremely rude man that I believe to be the manager/and or owner and told we could not rent the double bed room I had booked online, because we had more than two people. He said very rudely, "We never allow more than 2 people to a room, doesn't matter if it's a baby, a kid, doesn't matter." Just a very rude and hateful man overall was this impression I got. I cannot recall ever being treated so rudely in a customer service setting in my life. I have also never heard of such a ridiculous rule. Apparently families are not allowed to stay here. It may have been a blessing in disguise though. The place appeared generally dirty and dumpy. I can only imagine what the rooms were like. Do yourself a favor and never set foot in this place. Sh*thole with extremely rude management.

Dirty place with rude owners

took a non smoking rm that stunk of cigarettes,nasty,after taking 30 minutes to check in,we were too tired to ask for a refund,,rude and slow,,,,,we took our own pillows blanket,wrapped up in our own things and left at daybreak,didnt even touch anything there,horrible experience,its our laugh and memory now but at the time i couldnt beleive they could charge for such a trashy place.

worst night in fl.

Not even worth a 1 star...  I made reservations for a room with 2 double beds for my husband myself and our two children (as we've done at several other hotels), drove 2 hours only to be told we can't get that room because only 2 people are allowed in that room. How are you going to have 2 double beds and only allow 2 people..... Our children are  6 & 8 so they aren't big  and my husband nor myself are big. They said we would have to get a bigger room to have 4 people... When we asked why we can't sleep the 4 of us in that room we were told  "because they are full size and they got in trouble for having more than 2 people in those rooms... That's bulls***. Don't advise this place to anyone with family. Apparently children are a problem.

Absolute bulls*** place

This is the worst motel ever.  Toilet paper holder fell off as soon as I touched it.  Lights didn't work, tv didn't work.  Drunks screaming outside the door at 3 am with about a 1 1/2" gap under door.  I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.   Dirty nasty motel and owner was rude!!!

Discusted guest.

An elderly man was behind the check in counter when I arrived at 4:30 PM. He was rude and malevolent and this was the worst check in experience I have ever had. I considered just walking out, but because I reserved the room through a travel site, I was going to be charged for the night whether I stayed or not so I eventually checked in. I really did not want to give this man my credit card and drivers license information but had to. Another couple at the hotel that I spoke to later that evening had the same experience at check in.

The property is old and dated and in need of maintenance. The steps leading to the second floor are uneven and the next to the top step is an inch higher than the others so you trip the first time. The room was typical of cut rate hotels. I walked around on the tile floor in my socks and the bottom of them turned brown from the dirt. There was no wifi, clock, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer or Kleenex. There was a mini refrigerator, a flat screen TV with 4 or 5 channels, soap and shampoo. The parking was inadequate and many cars were parked on the lawn adjacent to the paved parking. There is no food available on the premise. This place was not a good experience at any price.

I stayed two nights in the same week . The first night we got in I noticed blood on the pillow cases. Fresh, not blood stained. The management brought in New sheets in less than an hour. The sheets had more hair than you would expect to see prior to that . It had a tv, with 3 or 4 local channels that would come in and go out . Most areas were clean . The main door you could see the light from outside and I'm sure bugs could get in very easily. The AC worked great. Beds were comfortable.  It was quiet and safe . 

As long as important things are clean I'd stay again if I had to.
