1st time visitors and loved our stay at the alpine lodge.  We stayed in the stand alone cabin and loved it.  We had so much room and could walk anywhere.  Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and we had our own little backyard to run around in the snow and feed the ducks in the river.  We would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Great experience!

Great location.  Close to lifts, town and food.  Parking was great. Friendly staff. 
If you are a senior. Get s ground floor unit. Stairs are steep. No elevator. Rooms are nice. Decorated nicely. With coffee pot. No mic in some rooms.

Great stay

Excellent stay in Red River. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and front desk friendly. Walkable to ski lift and town restaurants and ski rentals. We had to book 2 rooms for family of 4, would like to book more in advance for bigger room for family. Liked the cancellation policy but did not use.

Walkable to ski area

Just returned from a 3-night stay at Alpine Lodge. We could not have asked for a better experience. This quaint inn is full of character! Super comfy bed, plenty of hot water, and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! We stayed in Rm. 303 which provided a great view of the slopes and was walking distance to everything. With 10 inches of snow that weekend, it was nice not to drive for coffee, restaurants and shopping.

Will gladly stay here again!

Loved Alpine Lodge! We stayed in the Torchlight room with the fireplace and it was so romantic!! Everything was outstanding! The grounds, the balcony, closeness to everything….couldn’t beat it!!  The staff was super friendly and very accommodating!!  Will definitely be staying here again when we come to  RR

THE BEST!!!

This is a great place to stay.  The lodge is older, but very quaint, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.  The owner Vicki is so kind and answers all your questions and more about the town, restaurants, etc.  The lobby area has a nice sitting area with a fireplace and free coffee bar.  You can also get ice and a vending machine for drinks.   Our room had plenty of towels, soap, small trial size shampoo and conditioners and lotion. You are able to check out a hair dryer at the front desk if needed.   There was a coffee pot that makes 4 cups with regular and decaffeinated coffee.   We also had a mini fridge in our room, which was really convenient.  There were also 2 nice chairs that were recliners and we were able to sit and watch the snow fall.  Very nice!
   The lodge is close to a lot of restaurants and, the grocery store, Der Market, is close by.   Everything is within walking distance.  We will definitely return next winter to this lodge.  It's perfect for a wonderful winter vacation.

Winter Fun at Alpine Lodge

We first saw this lodge back on our trip in 1994 but stayed elsewhere. This trip, we decided to give it a try based on reviews. We were not disappointed. It’s updated, clean and comfortable. It’s within walking distance of entertainment and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Old lodge but clean and updated

Very nice motel. Ample parking, nice grassy open area by the river outside our room. Nice deck to sit on in the morning and evening. Room was small, but met our needs. I must comment on the shower, as I had great water pressure, something so many places now restrict. When you spend all day riding on a motorcycle, the last thing you want is a shower that barely trickles water. This one didn’t. It was great and relaxing. We were able to walk into town for dinner, and although we skipped breakfast, could have easily walked to a breakfast joint. If you are a skier, this lodge is at the base of the main ski lift in town. You can walk to it. Would definitely stay here again. May bring my dirt bike and buddies next time and hit the OHV trails.

Only place I would stay in Red River

Our room was wonderful, very clean and bed was comfy. We enjoyed the view we had. Housekeeping was daily but never woke us up which we really appreciate. 
We were able to walk everywhere in town.
My only wish for room 205 is a full length mirror, there is wall space for that! Thank you for the great stay!

Loved this hotel

We vacationed as a family group of 9 and reserved two cabins.  The cabins were perfect for our family groups.  The location was also perfect as we walked everywhere.  Management was awesome and very friendly.  The cabins are comfortable and clean.  Loved having a full kitchen in the two bedroom cabin as we all gathered for meals.  We will stay here again if we take another Red River vacation.
