We had a lovely time here in January 2023 for our anniversary. The house was quiet and comfortable, and everything was perfect! For less than the price of a luxury hotel room, you can get so much more at Hope Inn.

It requires two hundred characters but that's all we have to say!

Hidden gem in Redding

If I could give this property 10 stars, I would.  The grounds are immaculate, the house and room are well appointed, roomy and very comfortable.  The owners have put much effort into every detail and it shows.   Easy check-in, friendly and responsive owners.  Close to everything in Redding, yet the property is in a residential area.  I highly recommend this property. 

Absolutely Wonderful Property 

This is a beautiful place to stay.  We were on our way from SF to Crater Lake so stopped here to break up the drive.  And we are SO glad we did!

We stayed in the Vineyard Room which is spacious and beautiful.  The bathroom had a huge shower, bathrobes and again, lots of space.
The bed is big and comfortable.  There are chairs to sit in and windows looking out to the stunning gardens.  All amenities are available in the room - fridge, toiletries, coffee maker, lots of hanger space .

The bedrooms are centred around a shared sitting area and a shared kitchen.  But if you're shy, you don't need to come out of your room.  

Everything is immaculately clean, there is shaded parking (a bonus when it's over 100 outside). 

Entrance is through a door code.  We had a really nice stay here and found it excellent value for money. 

Beautiful, Clean, Good Value

We stayed in the Royal Shasta room for one night. Denise greeted us and was super friendly and helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast at places she recommended and they were great! The bathroom is the real winner in the Royal Shasta room - such a stunning room!.

Wonderful B&B

We only had one brief night to stay in Redding, but after seeing the Hope Inn we wish we had more time.  It was such a beautiful place.  The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated.  
We never met our hosts because we arrived late, but communication before and after our stay was friendly, helpful and complete.  
If we're ever in the area again we will definitely be back.

Our home away from home (if we could afford any home).

Like previous guest reviewers we were hesitant to share this wonderful find, but ultimately we realized this was a self-serving attitude and did not honor our hosts who have created a unique oasis for travelers. We stayed in the Safari Room on the first floor on our way from Corvallis, Oregon to Santa Cruz, CA and had such a wonderful visit that we booked the Royal Shasta Room upstairs on our way home. The opulence of this room cannot be overstated. Future guests need to treat themselves to this special experience.  A big plus: the  mattresses, bedding, and pillows are super plush, and gave us a great night's sleep coming and going in our travels. The hosts gave us all the information we needed for a seamless check-in and check-out. Thank you, Denise, for your gracious communications throughout the booking process and for your warm welcome to the Hope Inn. Add the Hope Inn to your Bucket List

I am hesitant to review the Hope Inn, only because I wish it could be a secret place to those who have stayed there.  It is only fair that the world knows that it is magical, special, and so very wonderful.  We have stayed here twice, as lodging while attending shows at the Cascade Theater.  It is such a unique, comforting, special place that all should be aware that this piece of tranquility and respite exists in Redding.  It is an experience; they are not here to entertain you, but they provide such a wonderful place for you to relax and unwind. What a wonderful place

We stopped in Redding on our way from Oregon to Montrrey. We are so happy we found the Hope Inn. What a wonderful place. Friendly owners, clean and very comfortable room and beautiful setting. We stayed in the Vineyard Room. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a comfy stay in Redding. 

A gem in Redding. 

We are driving across country from New York to California and we have stayed in a number of hotels/inns.  This is, by far, the BEST place we have stayed.  Everything about it is absolutely wonderful, from the kind,  gracious owner to the top notch amenities.  The property is beautiful.  Our room was spacious and spotless.  The bed was extremely comfortable with luxurious, soft sheets, comforter and pillows.  There is a common living room and kitchen for guests to use and it is spacious,  well organized, beautifully decorated and again- spotless!!  There is also an outside deck and patio with a gas grill for guest use as well.  I am writing this review as I sit on a swing overlooking the peaceful garden.  We are just passing through Redding, but we would love to stay here for a week because we enjoyed our stay here so much.

Fantastic!!!

Don’t hesitate to stay here. With beautiful appointed grounds and rooms to die for,you will want to kick back and reconnect with each other. Each room rivals the next with the expensive appeal of a luxury hotel. 
Great  for small groups or just want to drop out and chill .  Near all the local things you know but far enough away if you want to forget them.
The inn owners go the extra mile for their guests and are very hospitable. A wonderful place, don’t miss it as you journey thru life.
