I recently stayed at this hotel, and I was  impressed with my experience. The room was clean and tranquil. This made my stay peaceful.

The amenities provided in the room were great. the room includes a desk, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

Another highlight of this hotel is its location. It’s situated right next to the river. 

Overall, I recommend this hotel because of its cleanliness, quiet ambiance, and well-appointed rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, affordable place. 

We stayed here on July 6, 2022. It was a particularly hot day and we had been riding our motorcycles for more than 8 hours. A last minute decision led us to book a hotel as opposed to try and find camping...so glad we did. The staff is A+ (Raquel, thank you for your hospitality). The room was very clean and updated nicely. A/C worked very well. The pool is awesome; just the right temp and clean clean clean. The room was quiet, linens and bedding were of good quality. Clean, fairly new carpet. Bigger vanity area. Nice larger fridge if we needed it. Coffee in room. Parking lot and surrounding were nicely landscaped and clean. This a well-managed, well taken care of propertly and their prices are better than what you will find anywhere around. I would not hesitate to go out of my way to stay here again.

Stay here if you are on your way to Kings Canyon/Sequoia Nat'l Parks

A nice location.  Room was clean, quiet and comfortable.  Motel look well taken care of and maintained.  Close to amenities.  No long term residents, Covid protocols in place.  Location had a pool in the middle of the complex.

A Good Motel

If I could give zero stars I would and it pains me because this is the only place close to my mother's home. I've stayed here at least once a year for the last 5 years. Rooms stunk like lingering cigarettes the whole night. The cleaning lady refused to come in and smell it and then was told by the owner that it did not smell. Our second night we drove in an there was as drug deal happening in front of us by the lobby and the whole night doors opened and closed all over and come to find out by the locals this place has had a big drug and prostitution problem. The cleaning staff was rude and I never had this problem here before. I used to feel comfortable here in the past but this will be the last time I stay here. I have a relative in Reedley who is a first responder and he said absolutely don't stay there anymore.

DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE!!!

The refrigerator didn't keep anything cold. The hair dryer was broken and the outlet next to the bed didn't work. The housekeeper with the slick black hair was rude.  The rooms have a stale smell. Trying Hotel Burgess next time.

Nothing worked

I love the location of this hotel but the staff is the worse I’ve ever experienced.  Check out time is at eleven but the cleaning ladies walk by the rooms at 9am banging on the doors so very rude and disturbing the rooms are usually dirty and bugs crawling all over the restroom and the beds and worst of all some of the cleaning staff are drug addicts.  I hope the owner takes the time to hire better staff till then I’m not taking my business there

Awful staff

All you need they have.Breakfast was not available because of coronavirus . But they offered lovely fresh peaches and pomelos. Room was clean and nice. And room has refrigerator and microwave and coffeemachine, all great. Thank you.

Very comfortable hotel

I stayed for one night here, on my way to King Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Staying in Reedley allowed me a fairly short and easy drive to the parks the following day as well as a reasonable price for a motel. The motel was very easy to find, and my check-in there was quick and smooth. The clerk there was helpful with a couple of questions I had. My room was spacious, and included a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer, desk, and a small sofa. It also had a large TV, though unfortunately the picture was very poor for most of the channels - at least I wasn't really planning to watch TV that evening. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was quiet. Another convenience to the motel location was that there was a restaurant right next door - the Wakehouse, sort of a pub-food type of place, which was fine for me that evening. Aside from the poor TV picture, the major issue I had with my room was in the morning, when I couldn't get more than lukewarm water in either the shower or bathroom sink. I didn't bother to ask about it when I checked out, but I can't imagine that happens regularly. There was a nice breakfast in the morning, with the usual items plus make-your-own waffles. Overall, the positives for the Edgewater Inn outweighed the issues I mentioned, and I'd give it another try if I'm on my way to the nearby national parks.

Convenient location, overall good experience

July 2016: 100th Anniversary National Parks Summer Trip. When we Googled hotels near Sequoia NP, this hotel came up on my search. The price was very attractive so I took a closer look. We reserve a room and upon arrival we found a clean room with extra towels, helpful staff and a generous continental breakfast. We stayed three nights (enough time to rest after a long drive there and after visiting the NPs in the area) and it was nice to always find the pool clean and open late to refresh ourselves after being outdoors all day. This place was kind of hidden off the highway between a residential area and an orchard so it was nice and quiet. We received a good value for our money.
