This motel was disgusting! It smelt disgusting like they were trying to cover up really bad odors with cheap air freshners hung behind the door. The room was stuff and you could constantly hear tapping noises and banging. They kept the shower where THEY wanted it. It wasn't hot and you couldn't turn it up hot enough to enjoy it! The bathroom was small and the shower was disgusting. You couldn't even move in the shower. The beds were hard and turned out we were sleeping in somebody else's dirty sheets. They just remake the bed with other people's bedding. So when we excited we figured the "maid" has a certain job to do. We kindly stuck out trash in the trash can they provided and didn't make the beds figuring they had to clear the sheets off. There were a few crumbs from my kids on the floor, but that was it. Just the basic dirty a maid would clean. The owner came in and was screaming and ranting about charging us a deposit on both our rooms. She didn't say why exactly that was but that it was in other words "trashed". We did NOT "trash" the place. We attempted to take pictures for proof and during COVID she grabbed my sons arm and forced him out of the room. That really pissed me off! Nobody touches my son ESPECIALLY during COVID!! She tells us we cannot get pictures of the room. Yet, SHE takes pictures and calls the police. These people are some kinda Arab scammers that don't realize they are in America and have a duty to CLEAN their room up and vacuum. It's what you get PAID for! Stop charging extra money for your own damn job! Get a thing called a vacuum and make the beds fresh! Stop calling police on YOUR scam and mistakes! You people are disgusting! There was a man who came out in his underwear to witness it. We let him know he should be careful or he would be facing the same scam as us!! NEVER EVER STAY HERE!! The lady here is very evil and out to get people! She really wants your money and will do anything to get it! Even put her hands on your children. This place is an absolute disaster!! TRUST ME AND SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! Hands down the worst place ever!!!

Nastiest place and rudest people ever!

Check-in was fine, but it was the last good thing we experienced here. We entered the room, and the smell of some ghastly air freshener was overpowering. We’ve had the door and bathroom window open for a couple of hours, and the smell is almost unchanged. I don’t want to consider what smell (and what source of that smell) they’re covering up. The WiFi is barely present. The shower is tiny and unpleasant due to bits and pieces missing. The same is true of other parts of the bathroom. The carpet is a weird material that I would prefer not to feel under bare feet.

I don’t know what the other low cost motels in Reedsport are like, but avoid this one like the plague.

Never stayed in a worse motel

I am staying here for eleven days. The price includes tax is $701.76. Now I will add why this motel received four stars when some folks would give it only 🙄 two stars. First place, I had a couple of small issues but Buddy took care of the issues pronto. The staff accommodated me at the time of check in. I wanted an upstairs 😀 room. Being the weekend and they are usually booked solid
... I had waited as Buddy contacted Mona...  he had mentioned that I am a very nice man. I was offered a room upstairs within a few minutes. I know things don't always work out but I liked 😀 the way Buddy handled it. I had a couple issues but Buddy took care of it pronto. Bed, bathroom with incredible hot water pressure for showers excellent! Cable TV great! Fridge, cooling fan and microwave all good! Absolutely no complaints! Thanks

Buddy Quality & Clean Place

My husband and I just needed a clean place with a bed and shower for an overnight stay, and this place was it. Motel was obviously very old, but we didn’t expect much. It was noisy, and I didn’t get much sleep. My husband could barely squeeze into the shower.

OK for one night 

Horrible rooms and horrible service! Cold non heated rooms. Trash was left on bed. Would not give us our money back. After staying for 15 minutes. Not worth saving money just to stay here! I'll just post some pictures of the mold and wet and moldy floors. 

Do Not stay here! Mold!!!

Very cheap. Reasonably clean.
BUT in serious need of updating.  Beds not the most comfortable.  Shower didn't work properly - could only get a trickle of water so gave up and went without.
Wouldn't stay here again.

Budget - yes. Best - not so much.

The name says it all. Don't expect luxury when you see 'budget' in it. A room with clean beds and hot shower was what we needed after spending a night in the WinCo parking lot in Albany waiting for the eclipse the night before. Yes, there was noise out the highway but, to tell the truth, it didn't bother us. We were sleeping like babies. This was the only hotel that had two rooms for our group that evening in the area that priced right. According to the friendly lady at check-in, the owner even lowered our nightly rate. A nice gesture indeed. An OK stay for one night.
