We had a great time! Highly recommend this B&B to anyone going to this area. Owners were great. Been in the business for 25 years.  Really enjoyed the farm fresh scapple that she bartered from a local farmer. Very historical home. Couple of minutes outside of Adamstown but definitely worth the drive. -Mark and Jessie

Brenda and Mark are super innkeepers.  We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.  The breakfasts were top shelf.  The Inn was impeccable and super clean. We will definitely be going back to stay with the Millers.

A Five Star Experience

First, Brenda and Mark are wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Brenda shared plenty of tips about area attractions. The inn itself is cozy and homey. This was our first stay at a B&B and we definitely enjoyed it. Lastly,  the breakfast was really delicious and plentiful.  Thank you Brenda and Mark for such an enjoyable stay.

Great selection for a weekend trip 

My husband and I went for Thanksgiving weekend which was our 21st anniversary. The moment we showed up, Brenda met us at our car to greet us and ask if she could help. She spent time getting to know us and give us a tour.

The room was so cozy. We stayed in Grandma's room. Breakfasts were amazing!! Brenda uses fresh, homegrown ingredients when possible. We really felt like members of the family. We met some really nice people. When we got home, I almost immediately booked another stay. 

You won't be disappointed if you stay here. 

Brenda is the Sweetest Person

The time there was relaxing, warm rooms, all was in antiques or Lancaster heritage.  the food was prepared well, all was quite appealing, always warm cookies and hot tea or coffee.   The host is quite compassionate and is there to make the weekend pleasant and assist in anything one would need.   Great get away from work and life concerns.

The place and the people were friendly, helpful and we look forward to returning soon.  We had great food with company that went with it.  The room we had was perfect and the prices were fair and worth the money.

20th Wedding Anniversary/Wife's Birthday

This turned out to be the perfect spot to relax before Christmas and still be close to spots we wanted to visit.  After checking their website, we just knew this was "it".  Having a love of old houses and antiques, we were delighted to find everything exactly as pictured.  We stayed in "Grandmother's Room".  The whole place was so clean and neat with understated decor.  The Christmas decorations were in keeping with the history of the time.  Brenda & Mark were delightful hosts.  My husband said to include that the breakfast is fantastic!  Our only "disappointment" was that we couldn't stay longer than 2 nights!  We are already checking our calendar to plan a return trip.

Peace & quiet

Brenda and Mark created a warm and friendly environment as soon as we walked through the door. The sincerity in greeting us, taking care of our needs, communal breakfast and fantastic conversation, made this truly unique. We are so grateful for a Christmas that pulled us away from the commercialism of the holiday and into the essence of traditional, heartwarming, “Merry Christmas” greetings.

Kindness and Warmth Nestled in Beauty

We loved staying here and highly recommend this peaceful oasis that's away from the busy aspects of Lancaster, yet convenient for driving there. We attended "David" at Sight and Sound Theater, also highly recommended.

 If you're a brewery fan, there are many! Our favorite was Lancaster Brewing. We also had a great dining experience at Olde Lincoln House in Ephrata, and Reinholds Inn for a more rustic experience. 

Hikes all-round! Visited Middle Creek, Texters Mountain and stopped on our way home in Hamburg to hike up to Pulpit Rock.

Here's a cozy historical home with thoughtful  decor, yummy breakfasts, and a parlor with hot beverages...and cookies! Brenda and Mark love what they do, and are warm, friendly conversationalists. You will agree.

Away from the Tourists

We visited for a weekend while were attending a family baby shower. We arrived late on Friday and Brenda made us feel very welcome even though it was almost 8pm. We enjoyed visiting with everyone during breakfast and even got to meet their new grandson. Would highly recommend!
