We got room 419as going in elevator a pimp and prostitute came in elevator I was asked well certain favors got to room door wouldn't lock the room was absolute disgusting tv didn't work one roll toilet paper nothing else no towels wash clothes again as want to vehicle was approached by lady wanting to sell her body several men was scattered about parking lot drinking from bottles  was approached by man who I saw earlier as an employee going in and out of rooms he knocked on door told me. I wasn't go being room I told him he was wrong I had my receipt told him door wouldn't lock  one o click in morning he knocked on my door wanting to fix lock told him to leave  people do not come here fair warning this is drug infested crime area rooms nasty sink and tub was filthy upon check out clerk still had clothes on from two days before food stains all on her shirt this be ideal place for police start war on crime.its not me look at other reviews here how is this place allowed to continue disgracing this city.l

Disgusting

At the last minute, we made a reservation through Expedia while travelling through Virginia on May 29/30, 2021. My wife called Travel Inn to explain of a late, late arrival due to uncontrollable traffic and weather. The night auditor said it was fine. I only wish I could attach more photos of the room that was given to us. It was moldy (AC), filthy, linens dirty, carpet stained/dirty, no toilet paper, no towels, no shampoo/soap, no television, walls repaired or not, no safety lock on the door. Also, the elevator was dirty and graffiti on the hotel walls.
Immediately, I returned to the front desk to inform them that the room was not acceptable and we wouldn't be staying. The night auditor said that all refunds needed to be handled through Expedia. Expedia was contacted - they contacted your business only to be told you would not be issuing a refund. The hotel was not acceptable and we definitely did not stay there so I am not sure how they could expect to be paid for no services rendered.
Also, the parking lot is unsafe and not well lit. The clientele coming and going was sketchy. Our vehicle and boat were prime targets.
The pictures on line do not show a true picture. It appeared that room may be rented more on an hourly occasion than nightly.

Don't ever book this hotel - so disgusting.

Awesome hotel. Bathroom in my room has been newly renovated. Room itself is clean and well appointed and the bed is tremendous. Bit of a bumpy check-in process but it all worked out. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It's off the highway, quiet and a fine establishment.

Will return

This place was full of drug dealers and prostitutes.  Room was disgusting.  I would'nt let my dog stay in a room like that.  The bathroom did not smell like it had been cleaned.  The floors were dirty.  The room smelled horrible.  The man at the front desk was disrespectful and rude.  This place is a dump.

Do not stay

Desk clerk was pleasant. I got a room on the third floor. The elevator wasn't working. The stair well smelled of urine. Room was fairly clean, drab, some chips on the sink and bathtub. I didn't dare use the show. The door chain had been removed / broken. My husband reserved this as it had an OK rating
