We have stayed here before; therefore, we knew what we we were doing.  We tried to make the reservation using several of the on-line agencies; however, all said that "No rooms are available for your date."  As a chance, I called direct and was told they had several rooms.  Also, the price was the same as a year ago.  Upon arriving I found it was under new ownership; however, the same friendly greeting awaited us.  This is not a major chain, just a "Mom and Pop" motel.  The nice thing is that it is small and one can park right in front of one's room.  The room was very clean; however, PLAIN.  There is a refrigerator, microwave, wi-fi, cable TV, and in-room coffee.  The bed was great.  Now, I wanted a clean, comfortable room, with a tub/shower.  This is what I have.  No, I cannot play tennis in here; however, there is a dresser and dining table and chairs.  It is easy on and off of I-90 and the town had everything we needed.  No, it is not a four star; however, I will keep their information for future (continued) stays.

A good place to stay without costing a king's ransom

The nicest thing we can say about this motel is we didn't get bedbugs and it did not burn down while we were inside. No one mentioned the train that is a block away, goes thru every hour & blows horn 7x! Carpet so grubby would not take off my socks. Restaurant down the road terrible too. My standards are not high but the canned gravy could of at least been warm. Go to Odessa for better lodging & food


Keep going 

This room was TINY. had to move table and chairs for access to bathroom that barely had room to turn around, and had evidence of mold around shower. The shower turned out to work pretty well, but definitely needed new grout, and the grout they used was the plastic strip kind that I think is fairly easy to install. Did I mention that the room was small? Manager was very nice and forgot to charge for the dog, then let it go at that. Referred us to a restaurant that was already closed, so we had to drive around the small town to find a place to eat.

Economical is about all I can say

We got in relatively late and it was nice that the office was still open. We got to our room where the fire alarm kept beeping and when we asked the front desk about it, her solution was to just "take the battery out." The room was clean and a fair price for what we paid for. The other tenants were incredibly loud and spent at least an hour outside of our door talking. The middle lock on our door also doesn't work. 

Issues

We stayed here after federal way and 
Leavenworth. I wanted to share palouse falls with my husband. Top hat was the perfect choice . Only 45 minutes from the falls.
As you drive to the hotel you will Notice the tracks. Due to this the trains didn't bother me.. It's a bit small that rooms are not this way any more.. Just use your imagination... And you will soar.. The price was great... Owner was nice...we will be back
