You couldn't give me a weeks free stay here. My wife, myself, and a couple we've known for years just wanted to get away from the world for a day. We got a room here.....they charged us $15 extra for a room with 2 beds cause there was 4 of us. When we got in the room, got settled, left to go t.the store and came back, the owner came beating on the door saying he called the police. He said no more than 4 in the room. I opened the door and showed him. Only 4 inside.....he then went on to call me a liar ny saying the 4 there weren't the original 4 who went in the room. I assured him we were. Then he started again about wanting IDs from everyone in the room, tag number off the car, etc etc.....completely unwarranted. Not only was this guy a real pain to deal with, my microwave quit working, phone didn't work, recepticle between beds was not functional, AC struggled and the room only had one towel, no ice bucket, the list goes on. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Don't do it.

Needed a inexpensive place to stay while going to the Strawberry Festival .  Check in was easy / quick .  The girl who checked me in was most pleasant and didn't yell ( like previous reviews) She offered to move me to bottom floor since I have mobility issues.  Room was clean, towels were thin and lines were sort of scratchy but I had no trouble sleeping and it served my purpose..    

Cheap place to lay your head.

Despite a lot of bad reviews, we had no issues. The staff was easy to work with. The rooms themselves lack a lot to be desired but have the basic needs. It's not the best place to stay but for cheap night over it will do.

Okay. Not high end but will do.

If you happen to be in the Rock Hill area working for a few weeks like I am, this is by far your best option if you are not renting an apartment. I have stayed at other places as I come here often but for the money, comfort, cleanliness, and quiet...this is the place. Keep in mind that this is an older hotel and it is far from perfect but OK for the traveling worker like myself.

Best in area for long term lodging

The woman who rang us up was very rude, told us only two people allowed in th e room, went up the road to grab a drink with our friend, he brought us back, we were standing outside smoking at saying our goodbyes, and the bald fat little owner man came out, yelling "no more than two no more than two", when we tried to explain to him that the guy was a designated driver, he cursed us in foreign languages, and then told us we had twenty minutes to back and leave or he would call the police. I will never go back, rooms looked like crap, counters and furniture appear to be falling apart, and the carpet feels very strange on your feet. Almost greasy.

Owners are giant pricks

I have stayed at this hotel a lot. rooms are clean. owner has his moments but over all his nice its his wife thats RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now she the new housekeeper beating on doors yelling for towels and sheets. We were stay overs she wanted to leave our door standing wide open while she cleaned the room( but its to cold outside for that) she said well i have to keep opening. she kept running her mouth we checked out next day and wont be back i reuse to pay good money at room and be treated how she treats guest. Dont go waste money!!!!!!!!!!!!! and internet only works sometimes
