I booked through booking.com and it had pretty good reviews. We arrived and it wasn’t as good as the reviews. We reserved a smoking room and they didn’t have any available when we arrived so we cancelled and went to another motel. We did go to the room just to check it out and I wasn’t happy with it. It needs to be updated.  There was homeless people at the corner of the building. Motel was just sketchy all around. The owner was nice.

Ended up not staying.

I made this reservation through booking.com and read some reviews, some negatibe and some postitive. Tjhis place ratred a positive frrom me, the cost was very reasonable and the room had a king bed with an iron and board.The heat and shower was very good also.

Worth the cost

Horrible horrible room. I cannot imagine who left good reviews of this place. The people working at the front desk were agreeable enough, but it wasn't enough to make up for how DISGUSTING this motel was! We figured it'd be ok, since it was just a short stop on the way to Myrtle Beach- DON'T DO IT! There were roaches running around the room, so we had to put all our stuff up off the floor and sleep with the lights on. Room was missing many basic things, like a clock, shampoo, tissues, etc. (I did ask the front desk clerk for shampoo, which he promptly gave me, but why isn't that stuff stocked in the room?) I am not a fancy or picky person; I usually stay in 3 star hotels and have never stayed in a 5 star place. But even for me, this place was ATROCIOUS. I don't know what else to say, but don't waste even $1 on this place! It wasn't worth the $64/night we were charged. Would've slept out in the car, but the neighborhood was iffy, at best- we were just glad our car wasn't broken into in the morning. Beds weren't uncomfy, but sheets and comforter had cigarette burn holes in them, and were stinky and stained. I don't think I should have to bring my own bedding to a motel! Air conditioner unit blew stinky air, so we kept it off all night. Walls and ceilings of entire room were stained/moldy. Water temp in shower kept changing from hot to cold. You hear road noise and trains all night long. I couldn't get out of here soon enough.

DON'T Book Here!!!!

We stopped here on our way to Myrtle Beach. Super affordable room, $64 for 4 people!!! You can't beat that!!! The rooms are older, but comfortable. The air was cool. The only negative thing is the bathroom. The shower curtain needed to be changed and awful shower curtain hooks that fall off every time you move the curtain! 

Nice Stop

All I needed were the basics: a clean room, clean bathroom, well heated on a cold night, and a comfortable bed. They delivered the goods, and at a very affordable price. The husband and wife managers seemed to be working very hard to make sure everything was alright. It was.

Clean, Friendly, Good Bed

This is ran down motel. Every thing in the room was very old even down to the art work on the walls. All the sitting furniture in the room was nasty/old looking also, I didn't sit on it because of that. They had a ironing board in the room but no iron. I had to all the front desk to see if then had them, and they did. But I just don't understand why I had to walk down to get it. The only reason why I went to this motel is because all the other ones in Rockingham was booked for the weekend due to a event that was going on. I didn't sleep in the sheets on the bed bc I didn't trust them, I brought my own bedding from home. The bathroom/showr was fairly clean, I will say that much. I would stay here again.. ONLY if I had no other choice. This motel needs some fixing.
