I stayed here for a week while working and I have to say this is the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in. 

The negatives:
-Infested with roaches
-White bodily fluid stains on the couch.
-Stains and dried liquid all over the headboard 
-I found a live 9mm handgun bullet under the seat of the couch cushions
-The mattress had gross stains all over it.
-The sheets and bed spread had multiple burn holes in them despite being a non-smoking room. 
-I never once received housekeeping the entire week
-The room door had a quarter inch gap all the way around it and I could actually see inside my room from outside. The door had been kicked in at one point. 
-Dug dealers cruising around and parking in the parking lot all hours of the day and night. 
-Several fights broke out between people right outside my room.
-There were no curtains and the blinds wouldn't shut all the way so people could see me inside the room.

Pros: 
-Absolutely nothing

Absolutely filthy and gross

We have stayed in a dozen places on our 2 week vacation and this one was the worst. No elevator that I could find, so we had to make multiple trips upstairs to unload/load. Being on. 2 week trip we had quite a bit of stuff. I saw the hostess run up to the room and spray it with some type of febreeze type stuff so thank goodness hubby didn’t get a migraine from it. There were hardly any outlets in the room. There were none around the bed, so thank God we didn’t have to go buy an extension cord so hubby could plug in his cpap machine. We had to unplug the refrigerator so we could charge our phones overnight. Literally there were only 2 outlets in the the entire room with half of one being taken up by the fridge! 
The room looked worn and old. There was an iron mark burned into the carpet. The AC was cold (good) and the bed was comfortable enough. Glad it was just an overnight or I would have not stayed. 
The continental breakfast was coffee and your choice of two dry cereals, and I didn’t see any milk to put on it an no one was in the office area. The seating area was basically non existent. 
Overall I would not recommend staying here, as there are plenty of other better options in the area.

Horrible

As the New York Times front page ER you can imagine how busy my schedule is in between fighting for civil and justice and volunteering at a pet shelter! As a person who has to frequent hotels a lot and has been to the best that Romans had to offer on more than one occasion I have to give this place five stars not only to give me a sweet that was accommodating but the staff was very sweet and kind everything was up to par and it felt like a little bit of home! I stayed there right before I spoke at the White House and recently and I must say kudos to the staff great management is everything! Now if we could only find great guests!

Just like home

This is most terrible lousy & a lot damages  like electricity plug , tub wall , toilet paper holder,  no towel & wash rag  , no disturb sign, wifi not good need tower , service desk not doing job  right & hard Communciations for deaf & hard of hearing& no paper copy about policy  & not clean up floor becos water on floor before we come in & not sweep , not clean sheet , tv can't turn off, no soap & hand towel , we ask for cot bed for our reservation but she say when I come in will give me one but never did  but need extra. Smell smoking I am allergy to it make me cough alot.
Air vent not clean also smell on sheet like smoke. We lost our hearing aid case for my best friend . Service desk say she got it but I drive there  can't find it but not looking very good when I was in short but they looking not more time but she call housekeeping  say he make mistake that left in room when some one check in that is theft but is belong to us for hearing aid we needed it . But they don't care about it. Need 30 days to hold if I ask I lost it should hold it & call us to come pick up best option but this is place I hate it. Not worthy it . Thank you. Also they make loud & party also wild too. I don't like hard bed & flat pillow that I can't breathe.

Spend night 2 nights on July 28 to 31,2017

Miss Shelly and Miss Deborah and the rest of the staff run a nice establishment. They go out of there way and go above and beyond to make your stay here an enjoyable one. So if you are in Rome come stay here you wont regret it.

My husband and I stayed while our house was renovated planned to stay a wee and end up leaving. Manager is never there an if she is she sleeps or is with some guy that parks right in front of the hotel. What about disabled people. It was clean and the housekeeper is very friendly. But the manager acts all nice to you but does not fill the roll of a manager or running a hotel. She goes around in short shorts that I or my husband did not appreciate! Another guest told me how she talks about customers behind their backs. This place is ridiculous. Get new management !!

Bad management would never recommend

We have stayed here since January after a rental property for us fell thru at literally last minute...and they have been so kind and caring. Nobody wants to live in a hotel but since our family was left with no other option we are truly grateful to the management here. Of course the manager is very professional but she also shows she really cares about us and that is rare!! Thank u so much Fairbridge Inn!!
