We stayed at this POS place. few years ago. Booked online and paid several months before. I called several times during months before we arrived, was told "All is fine". we get there at 9:00 am that morning and checked in. at 10:pm that night Manager came to door saying booking company did not pay them, and we would have to pay again or leave. I showed where money was taken out of my bank account on my phone, they insisted they didn,t get paid.. We ended up having to PAY AGAIN so we didn't have to leave so late.. Room was nothing like photos, microwave in room looked like it was bent up with a baseball bat. Wall was painted but they painted over a few roaches. We had 1 towel and 1 wash rag.. Place is a rip off. And the next to the river-walk BS. it is right outside door to the left about 1-1/2 miles.. (On survey I selected June 2020, but it was in 2019 we stayed here, but NEVER again)

Very misleading photos

Clean, comfortable B&B with 
 great breakfasts. Great location in a quiet area, right off Riverwalk. Walkable to restaurants & the Alamo.  We stayed at the Concepion Suite which had a nice porch. Friendly host & staff. Would stay again.

Clean, quiet, great location 

I booked base on the pictures of the property, it looked like a safe and clean hotel. Parking lot had young man smoking marijuana in his car. We opened the door to room #132 and the room smelled bad and carpet was filthy. Room looked like a bad cleanup from a crime screan. Daughter was frighten with first glance. Had to book elsewhere.

Nightmare for 12 year old daughter

Great price and a great place to stay in San Antonio. Four blocks from the Alamo. Ten minute walk to the Rivercenter Mall. Very clean pool. Continental breakfast has been upgraded. Front desk person very professional and courteous

Coronavirus tournament

Don't go there,ever !!! DRUG DEALERS H.Q. for Downtown San Antonio area.No stuff over night,probably because they are afraid to be there.Three kind of people lives there.Permanently some people who's accommodation is paid buy government agencies,Drug dealers and travelers like me.It's quiet until 2 A.M.when traffic starting and of course,they are very loud (ILY Bro,F..k you Bro...and similar vocabulary).Parking lot is full with dealers and customers.Everybody is on the phone,loud in rooms and outside.No police around,probably for reason.I can't sleep and left property 4 A.M. SCARY !!! I booked with SnapTravel,just to let you know that you can proof my stay there.

Drug dealers HQ (aka Paradise)

AFTER I told housekeeping I didn't want any service in my room and they WATCHED me leave, they proceeded to open and walk into my room where my daughter was asleep AND then had the nerve to get rude with her because my 10lb dog tried to bite them. The entire staff must live on property because they are hanging out day and night in the parking lot. I will never spend money here again

Rude, unprofessional staff

Blood on mattress and shower curtain. Stains on sheets and covers. Tv did not work. Room smelled like urine. Remote was sticky and my door to room did not lock had to put chair in front of door. Staff yelled at clerk stating they will not clean room.

Horrible

Our room was pretty clean with a few minor problems. The problems were not anything that we could not work around. The bed was comfortable. The bedding was clean and worn. If you go here expecting perfection, you're going to be sorely disappointed. If you just need an okay place to stay a night or two and want to pay half or less than other going rates nearby, this is a good deal. If you look around on the web for a deal, you can get a relatively low price for the room compared to other places in the same area and the parking is included in the price of the hotel. I've stayed for a long period of time in an underdeveloped country and have since adjusted my expectations and requirements for  accommodations considerably. They provided a typical motel buffet breakfast with cook your own waffles, cold cereal, muffins, fruit and coffee. The staff was fine for our limited interaction with them. Unlike some other reviewers, I saw nothing scary here. We like to stay in this particular area and there aren't other options in this price range on this side of the downtown area.

Adjust your expectations. This is a low cost, convenient place to stay right where you need to be.

We pre-paid and requested a ground floor room (I use a walker). We got to the hotel and the clerk at the desk didn’t even want to acknowledge us, we are then told that there are no ground floor rooms available. I should have demanded my money back then but being stubborn I decided that I can do the stairs. Got to our room and the key wouldn’t work...after 3 attempts of going back and forth with new keys we finally get the door open to find that it is already being used! Got a new room, open the door and the smell of cigarettes permitted the place (supposed to be non smoking). And to top it off the bed cover has cigarette holes. Do Not Stay at this hotel!! Oh and the hotel is not ADA compliant as the elevator doesn’t work.

Horrible experience

I honestly like my stay here. Everyone is nice and have no issues with the daily cleaning servicess and I like the breakfast. I am in transition right so with the great fee rates and clean room ...I have no complaints.
