What was good

We had options to stay at other hotels and VRBOs in Mission Beach, trying to get as close to the beach as possible. After consideration, we decided on Bahia. The location was perfect and only a few minutes walk to the beach and shops. An added benefit, we were on the bay and the front desk staff was terrific. The room was great. It had a kitchenette, which was restocked each day coffee (Keurig pods & waters ), the bathroom was supplied with shampoo, lotion and body wash (travel sizes); and the room had a good view of the bay (closest to Sea World). The room was clean, and cleaned each day of our stay. The room was clean and lived up to my expectations of the resort. I only have nice things to say about the hotel staff; unfortunately however, I cannot say the same about ZenHotels. The staff at Bahia was exceptional and very accommodating. When I arrived at Bahia to check in, they stated that ZenHotels had changed my booking dates and I didn't have a reservation there for when I arrived. I had to explain to them in explicit details that I messaged ZenHotels multiple times to update my reservation. After a few minutes discussing the issue, the Bahia staff were able to find a new room for me and I was extremely pleased with their patience and helpfulness. I would strongly suggest Bahia to any of my friends or family for a wonderful stay in San Diego.
