My wife and I pulled in and were immediately surrounded by some hard looking dudes.  I mean one even walked in front of my moving car and then stopped, lit a cigarette and started waiving to others and pointing at my wife.

I got out of my car thinking okay, I can play rough if that's what it takes to get parked, but after running two of them off, the manager appeared and told me these people were fulltime tenants.  They may be, but they're also lawsuits waiting to happen. They're also drug addicts, because the first phoney tough guy with the cigarette happened to drop a few syringes out of his shirt pocket following a rude introduction to the curb.

This place is horrible. Extremely dirty! There was holes in the bathroom door, mold on the shower curtain and cigarette burns on the tub and the lid to the toilet was missing. Pieces of the wall was missing throughout the room and bathroom.

Very bad service the room stinks very badly all this dirty the mattress is very old, the only good thing is the location near San Marcos. no there is not even the room sign occupied and the mother wants to enter even though they are inside the room.

Pésimo servico is the worst.

This might be last motel on planet EARTH, manager Ken can't fix any of my problems in my room n I was with my kids. He called his son to fix my toilet n that high school kid doesn't know anything at all

Called the Mgr n talked to wired Chetana [--], who barely understand English

Just drive away.... It's better not to even go in parking lot

Housekeeper is illegal n working on staying basis with no pay my wife just talk to her in morning n she was old Spanish lady

We arrived around midnight looking for a place to get some sleep before a busy day.  I was very surprised to see how dirty the room and bathroom was.  There were holes in the wall, the bathtub was covered in hair and the toilet would not flush.  We were scheduled to stay 2 night but I couldn't stay one more minute.  The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and understanding.  He offered to give us back our money an apologized.  He said that he was having a hard time finding help to clean the rooms.  

WARNING

The worst hotel, with strange smells in the room, old TV, too-old towels and pillows, offers free parking but not with enough places and noises from the outside are heard.

Now that I read the reviews I guess none the rooms have locks on them??? I leave for the day cause I don't want the owner to be up and down, the first night cause I paid for a week he put me upstairs in a king size bed only temporary cause windown was broken lock didnt work, its dirty, smelly, but he didn't not have a downstairs until next day, and I also asked about the microwave he said he would have one up there by the end of the day, while I have been here since Tuesday it's Saturday no room downstairs no microwave, only reason it's doesn't smell it's cause I odorban and cleaning supplies! People that rent here look like maury guest, whenever anybody pulls up in parking lot they run out to see, just all out there, my hubby told me to stop asking for a different room cause we would have to deep clean again, and he seen the ladies down there, hell noo I'm not sleeping where they been at!

Never again.. it was a last minute and the last room in town and we still should have left... 
Advisor wouldn't let me leave a zero rating.
The pillows were sold scary we put the maybe clean towels on them and didn't even think of a shower.

After a one-hour hike from San Antonio to San Marcos looking for a hotel, and they wanted to charge us 195 dollars plus taxes for a room in a Super 8, we arrived at this hotel in San Marcos, had read your reviews and the truth the hotel is not bad, has what it takes, the room seemed clean and spacious to me, the air conditioning worked great because outside the temperature was 39 degrees Celsius, the room had a small refrigerator, a plank, a hair dryer and everything worked, the bathroom and the shower had no problems, it has cable TV, the truth is that we spend the day on the street and all we want is a suitable place to rest and the east manages to meet those needs, a few steps away a seven-step walk, two steps away a perfect place to rest Walmart a calendar, two steps away from the hotel, and she always asked me if there were any problems, if there were any other buses, if there were any problems.
