This place is a complete dive. I had to wash the floors in my room because my feet were getting black. My ‘pool-front view’ looked onto an empty pool and hot tub. The hotel’s jumbo washers and dryers now occupy the pool deck.  Even the ice machine is broken. I can hear other guests partying upstairs. It’s just gross. But one good thing is it is so ridiculously bad that I can’t stop laughing.

NASTY!

Room was spacious with a mini fridge, microwave and good sized TV.
Hotel receptionist Samantha and Suhash were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Samantha also researched  sightseeing tips such as Schweitzer Summit, City Beach etc Thank you!

2 night stay at Dynamic Inn Sandpoint

My stay at Dynamic happened to be in the midst of extreme weather conditions. Nonetheless, I needed to be at the train station at 1: 30 AM. Vanessa, the manager, was kind enough to show me the easiest route and offered to arrange for someone to drive me in the snow, if necessary.,  Thanks to the helpful staff, all went well and it was a relaxing stay in the clean, comfortable accommodations provided. Dynamic is by far the best choice when visiting Sandpoint.

They were rude at check in when informed we needed a ground floor room since they don't have an elevator for disabled folks. They switched our room then only put us in for one night when we'd prepaid for three.  The room smelled horrid as we were right next to the indoor pool - so horrible natural gas odor.  Left for sight seeing the next day, came back and could not access the room with our keys.  Had to get rekeyed, went to the room and found it had not been freshened!  Called the desk, asked for fresh towels, coffee fixings, and waited an hour.  Three young people showed up with the items and proceeded to explain why the rooms in this wing were not freshened.  Apparently the fill in housekeeper assigned to our floor didn't like to clean, so no one on our floor got their room freshened up.  No apology issued, nothing. It was like we were suppose to just accept this.  Definitely will not recommend to friends or family. Same thing happen the next day. We would not have continued our stay there had there been another room in town available...

Awful Place to Stay!

This property was unbelievably disgusting and almost $200/night. Carpets were filthy, bathroom had black mold, cob webs and hair everywhere. There were used towels still hanging in the bathroom and the pungent smell of mold and Cigarette smoke made it barely breathable.

Dirty, expensive and stinky

The room was fine for what we paid, and the location was good.  But there is a definite problem at this hotel.  We had reservations for three nights, but ended up leaving abruptly the last night and driving 7 hours home.  Every night there was yelling and some kind of commotion coming from the room next door and in the parking lot.  My husband witnessed two men physically fighting. Every night my husband complained to the front desk, but their response was to bang on our neighbors door and yell at them.  The last night, we were already in bed when it started up.  There was yelling, cussing, and threats of harm.  It got really scary sounding, like drug-crazed, nonsensical yelling chaos. So my husband went down to the front desk. Things escalated so badly that I went and hid in the bathroom and called 911.  I think every policeman in Sandpoint came within minutes.  The police never even talked to us or asked questions.  I overheard one officer say that they couldn't search.  There seemed to be a disbursement, but no one was arrested.  Once the police left,  we could hear a man yelling about his keys.  My husband said the staff admitted that one of the men in the room was an employee.  Another man was in his Super 1 Foods uniform, a grocery store a block away.

My guess is this is the norm at this particular hotel. The staff was feckless.  They refunded our money for the last night, but in my opinion they should have refunded for our whole stay, as we did not have even one peaceful night.  

Another problem, our door wouldn't lock behind us when we left.  The staff admitted it was their mistake and they fixed it.

The pool looked disgusting and was temporarily closed.  It was closed even when it said it was open.

Quite a few work trucks for labor companies---think that's where the workers stay wile on jobs.  

I have stayed at many budget hotels and motels in my life, but this took the cake as the worst experience ever.

Something really wrong here

If this is the last room in Sandpoint, sleep in your car. The grossest room with dirty, stained sofa, broken chair, latch on window was broken so anyone could climb in. Some dirty filter was left leaning against the wall in bathroom. Sink was clogged with no stopper. The rug hadn't been vacuumed in weeks and was stained with who knows what. They gave us a wifi code that didn't work. Called desk repeatedly and no answer. What a dump!

Filthy

Pool is freezing and water is cloudy. Hot tub is tepid needs cleaning.   But best of all No Room Keys if you want to get in your room good luck finding someone to let you in.    Rooms okay.   Good location  front desk is obviously mortified about the no room keys issue and perturbed they have to let you in saidsame Not having a room key is a huge malfunction and major inconvenience  property has offered nothing for the poor performance

The room was decent size, clean, quiet, and fairly up to date.  The front office clerk was friendly and efficient.  The location was good, but parking lot was small.  They offered a discount at the attached restaurant, which we ate at and found the breakfast and service to be good.  Overall, a good value and would stay here again.

Pretty good property

We arrived and gave reception girl my info. We were staying 4 nights.  She said I wasn't booked in, I told her i had booked a couple months ago online.  She took a while checking and I also told her we had paid ahead of time.  She said we hadn't .   Then she found the  info , and I told her we were to have a free breakfast included, she  said they don't offer that, i told her it was on my sheet and that was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.  She didn't believe me and i told her I had the confirmation sheet in the car with that info included.  She wanted to see it , so in front of a few other people waiting to check in i went out to the car to find the info.  I showed her the sheet I had and she searched through it and couldn't find the breakfast included in the confirmation sheets so I took the sheets and showed her where it said that .  She said oh ok , we are under new management so i will  have to give you a  coupon for  4 free breakfasts for 2.  We finally went to our room which was like a box and you could literally hear everything on either side and upstairs.   Then I noticed the coupons she gave me expired in a couple  of days and the dates were not correct on them.  So I went back to the front  desk and another lady was there and she corrected the coupons.  The only redeeming thing about that hotel was the restaurant next door was amazing. The food was good , the staff were great.   I will never stay at the  Quality Inn in Sandpoint ID. again.  Very disappointing.
