GreenTree Inn Santa Fe

We were looking forward to our first visit to Santa Fe. We booked at the last minute and rates for our preferred hotels had increased by double so we against our better judgement decided to give the Quality Inn chain another chance. We should have gone with our gut feeling. We’re paying way more than we should for 3 nights, the hotel boasts newly renovated which is why we gave it a try. The rooms are small, the walls and door were painted not upgraded. The bathroom wasn’t renovated, the tub is old and stained, the bathroom is small. There is no hot breakfast as advertised. The windows have not been replaced and are old and disgusting. There are no curtains on the windows only a shade. We had to put an extra lock on the window and door to feel safe. The beds mattress seems newer but  is on a cheap metal frame. The room looks cheap. Choice Privileges should be ashamed to say this is part of their hotel chain. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Unfortunate Choice!

Needed another person at front desk. Only had one, and there was a line. Got to our room and the wifi pw didn’t work. Called to front desk, but no answer. Located on a very busy street, traffic was noisy, horns blaring. We paid almost $200 on a Sat night out of desperation, and it wasn’t worth $100. We had a handicapped room, 2 queen bed. Smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Barely room for the 2 beds. Large bathroom, but no lip on shower, and it leaked halfway across the bathroom floor, which was unsafe, so we had to put our towels on the floor to soak up the water. In the morning I asked if they had a breakfast (which they advertise, and the clerk the night we checked in didn’t mention), and he offered me a to-go bag with yogurt, apple, and a muffin. Waste of money at this hotel. Go somewhere else.

Not an enjoyable experience

Pretty much an unkept, bare bones, worn down, ill cleaned, very poorly maintained, if it is maintained at all, uncared for property. It appears that no one cares or takes responsibility for the property, or takes any pride in this property. It is a very poor place to stay, if you want to feel good. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else!

There is probably a worse motel, somewhere?

My family's experience at Greentree Inn, Santa Fe NM, included ants on the bedsheets, a 4:30 am fire alarm that didn’t seem to alarm any motel staff, hand soap that smelled like paint thinner and no hot water. A request to the front desk for rebate was referred to management (not available), then to Booking.com, which did not respond. We won't stay at Greentree again, and we won't use Booking.com.

No Hot Water, No Help from Management

Spartan and spooky with some longer term guests. This is an old style motel with plenty of rooms. But the rooms are threadbare; no fridge, microwave or coffee maker. Old style air system. If not for the lead daytime front desk staffer, check-in would have been a nightmare. So be sure you're able to prove you have a reservation. On a positive note, it's near a bunch of shopping.

Really Rough Cut

I gave it a "2" because it's in a good location and it was essentially clean.

Bare Minimum

Too high priced for what amenities there was. There was no coffee maker, hair dryer, tourist info in the rooms. There was also no table and chairs for us to sit at to eat in the room. The beds however, were comfortable though. The service was terrible.

Overpriced.

I flew out to New Mexico for the first time for a big wedding.  The room itself is adequate for what you pay for.

I'm leaving a terrible review, because upon arrival, it's very hot in this state, and the AC unit was broke.

I explained to the staff that I had a big wedding the next day and I was officiating, so I needed to sleep instead of slowly cook alive in room 104.

The staff barely raised a finger at the situation, in a dazed state, blankly said there's nothing she can do, or her manager.  How is that possible if I'm still able to navigate to their website and book a room for the night?  I didn't even feel heard, and I almost felt as though she thought it was funny.

I'm writing this review at midnight, I still can't sleep.

This place is awful.

Wedding Weekend

Room cleaned that's it. Man at check in smelted like an ash tray. 
No anything in room. Oh 2 cups and tv.
No soap in shower.
Not worth it.
Never would of stopped.
No AC, if they did, it didn't work. No happy. Blew warm air and you can smell someone smoking weed  sick.

Sucked

This is such a run down motel and there were multiple times when my partner and I did not feel comfortable. In fact, we stayed one night and had to leave because we were so uncomfortable. Would NOT to recommend this place to anyone.
