Non existent wifi, noisy AC and heat, and horrendous traffic noise (the motel is literally right in the edge of a really busy highway). Horrible location, very sleazy neighborhood. We walked to a restaurant for dinner and had to pass 4 Asian massage parlors, an adult shop and 2 tattoo parlors.

I can't believe this place has so many positive reviews! I definitely cannot recommend this to anyone.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Leave the plastic and particle board furniture behind.  A touch of the old Southwest of the 50s characterizes this motel on Santa Fe's busy, commercial & not interesting street. The bedroom is spacious, the lighting pretty good, the furnishings warm wood & even the doors bring charm to this salt-of-the-earth accommodation.  The bed is comfortable but not outstanding.  A little fridge & coffee maker were welcome.  Plenty of hot water & good water pressure in the very small bathroom, not recommended for overweight or mobility impaired guests.  Although away from the center of it all in the Plaza, King's Rest is near The Pantry & a coffee shop for your morning wake-up.  Covered parking is a double plus in this hot or snowy climate.  Noise of traffic on Cerrillos Road could be a problem for light sleepers.  1-2 nights would be my limit at this place.

Throwback to the 50s, Covered parking, Good Bang for the  Buck

This place was very comfortable. Rooms are small but have a clean bed and have what you need. It’s not a Ritz but it’s a good place to rest. It’s a cool nostalgic hotel, you even get an actual key for room and park your vehicle in a carport next to your room.

Great nostalgic hotel

We decided to make a last minute stay-over.  Not wanting to stay with a commercial hotel, we decided to check out this little beauty.  Wow!  We were not disappointed!  This is probably, one of the cleanest rooms, we've ever stayed in. The ambience is so, nostalgic, front desk is very friendly and the price is very fair. Excellent!!  A+ 

Eureka!!

This place is a rare find. It is much nicer than the price indicates. It’s a throwback to a different time of road trips. The room is quiet, you get your own carport, the rooms are very clean. This is a well kept property. Everything in the room was well kept and the paint looked fresh.

A hidden gem

I stayed here four nights. This is a historic motor court. It is clean, quiet, and comfortable.   Owner is on premises and takes great interest in the property. 
If you want a fancy place, go elsewhere but for me it was perfect.  I will stay here anytime I'm in Santa Fe.

Quaint, Historic,  Perfect

Second time staying here, just as great as the first. Very clean rooms, just spotless!  Very quiet also, no noise at all. And they have carports! Staff is very nice & helpful! Even the outside of the property is spotless. The rooms are very roomy. The price is very reasonable too.

Highly recommend!

This is one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in! It was spotless. The bed was excellent, lots of pillows. Loved the carport! Bathroom has a huge walk in shower & there's a walk in closet. I will be staying here on future visits to Santa Fe.

I was super impressed with how clean the room was and liked the king room with the desk and large closet. I walked around the neighborhood after 7+ hours driving and wasn't sure I was in a safe part of town.  Everything was fine. If you ask for ice all you get is a quart bag. Parking was close to the room and we really liked that. We found the room super quiet despite being next to a busy road. Thanks for a good nights rest!

Quiet and very clean!

Because the price of this motel is relatively low, I didn’t have high expectations but the reviews were good so I gave it a try. This place is so quaint and it was the most spotless room I’ve ever stayed in!  And that includes $400 per night places
