It started with falling out of the elevator at the York Street Condo. Nice bruises and sore for a few days, but hey, you get over it. Then we checked upstairs at the grills (on Friday) for a cookout for my daughter's graduation on Saturday. We found some problems and called a day before so it would be ready for a family get together to celebrate. However, after maintenance checked it, they didn't clean the nastiness of the grills. After that, no one returned my phone calls or texts. We ended up having to go out to eat after already spending a heck of a lot of money on groceries for the barbecue! And there were no Umbrellas to keep the sun off of you and everything wasn't nice and pristine. Have the pic from the ads. And then thirdly - the washer wouldn't wash our clothes. Error code which I called about that day. No reply. Complaining isn't in my nature. Over-communication is and rightly so. I wanted everything to go well and it didn't. It cost us more in the end. For what we paid for this graduation adventure, my daughter was upset when she should have been happy. 
I should also mention that that comfy couches had seen better days. It was peeling off leather onto clothes, bedding and the floor. And the fold-out bed springs were broken and unusable.
The condo is ideally located, but the price was not fully disclosed. I rented it from this site because we would get one night free. However, when I mentioned that to Lucky Savannah, they said they didn't honor that at all and it was the Sites bad not theirs. For $2600 where I thought I had a $300 discount - not cool.
We love Savannah. My daughter spent the last four years attending SCAD and we have stayed at some amazing places, seen incredible sites and history, attended a few fabulous ghost tours, and the food and drink was out of this world. Did I mention we love Savannah? :) And I have given great reviews on a lot of those places with more to come! That's why this pains me to write, but beware and make sure you check everything when it comes to renting a place. Make sure you understand what you are paying for and you won't feel so unlucky in the end.

Unlucky in Savannah

I booked the full floor for my sister's bachelorette party because we loved the idea of the whole group being able to hang out together in one area. We requested an early check in the day of which we were granted but upon arrival the house keeping staff was still there and would not let us in.  It wouldn't have been a huge problem except for the fact that they were incredibly rude to us.  We then found bed bugs in two of the bedrooms. I'm not sure what housekeeping was doing that prevented us from getting into the condo but it couldn't have been cleaning considering they overlooked BED BUGS. We had to vacate the unit which meant our group had to separate even though the whole point of renting York Street was so that we could be together. After our visit we tried for weeks to work out a refund for our inconvenience. They gave us a partial refund but it was so small that it was insulting (a fraction of the cost of the rental). Even getting that was like pulling teeth. Oh, and did I mention that one of the units had broken air conditioning? There's nothing like sweating it out in a 95 degree room in the middle of September.  York Street SUCKS.

BED BUGS

Had most of a floor for our group of 10.  Can rent single units, combine units or take the whole building.  Will definitely stay here anytime we are in Savannah.  Great accommodations and the "kids" loved the foosball!

Great place within walking distance of all the fun!

Be careful with this place. It is in a perfect location, the third floor can open up and parking is great. HOWEVER it is very dirty! You can’t walk around in the condo because your feet will turn black. Cobwebs, rust, bugs, dust and incredibly hard beds. And the owner won’t do anything to address the filth. Renter beware!!!

Dirty!!!!

A group of friends and I rented the entire 3rd floor of the York Street Condos from Sept 28 through Oct 1, 2017. The reason we chose the York Street Condos is because we had a large group and loved the idea of opening up the connecting doors to have one large unit and the location seemed central to main places. Unfortunately, two of the beds in suite 303 were found to have what was confirmed to be bed bugs by the York Street Condo staff. While the York Street Condo staff responded quickly everyone in the entire third unit of the third floor had to move down to the second floor and the unit was sealed off. This essentially broke our large group up into three rooms. In addition to that, the AC continuously malfunctioned in unit 304 and would reset to have the heat kick on. While we were given a partial refund we could have just as easily stayed in a hotel if we had wanted our group broken up and would have spent less money.
