Best motel experience I’ve had. Unique rooms with nice touches like not the standard artwork, lamps, bedding, etc. likes the character of the rooms. Pleasant, attentive owner. Breakfast was an unexpected treat. Would definitely stay again!

Best motel experience I’ve had

What a great find in the Adirondacks! We stayed in the Bear room, and it was quiet and spotess. New paint and furnishings, and thick bath towels. The complimentary continental breakfast was perfect - danishes, hot coffee, cold milk and juice. The hosts were very friendly, and you can tell they really care about their property and guests. A couple minutes from town, and highly recommended.

One of the nicest motels in the Dacks!

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at the Blue Ridge Motel. It punches way above its weight for the price point and is run by the friendliest and most thoughtful owner and staff.  The rooms were lovingly decorated, clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast had everything we needed to fuel us up. But what really stood out for us was the hospitality offered by Tammy the proprietor. She went way above and beyond in making our stay comfortable and fun, and even went as far as to arrange a special surprise vintage car experience for our son. You should definitely stay here when you are visiting the area; we will be back for sure. 

Great hospitality!

What a beautifully perfect place. Fantastic staff, the room was spotless. The stay was so quiet, even though the rooms around me were full.  My room was decorated in an adorable Adirondack manor and had everything I needed.  

Reasonably priced - perfect stay.

First time staying at this Adirondack gem. Wonderful staff and fantastic accommodations. Motel looking recently renovated and brand new. Great attention to detail. Perfect place to stay that’s close to some amazing attractions.

Fantastic ADK get away stop

Oh my gosh!  This was the CUTEST hotel I've ever stayed at!  We stayed in the Bear Room.  Everything was decorated SO adorably.  Bear everything.  Perfectly clean!  It appeared to have recently been remodeled - everything looked brand new.  And then - breakfast!  Homemade chocolate chip muffins! She was making them in the room right next to the breakfast area.  There were also several other homemade choices - I think one was blueberry scones?  I don't know - it's been a while so I don't remember exactly.  The kids and I all stuck with the gigantic chocolate chip muffins.  If I'm ever back in the area, I will drive OUT OF MY WAY to stay here again because it is such a great business!

CUTEST hotel I've ever stayed at!

We stayed for 3 nights. We were in a recently renovated room and everything was brand new and in perfect working order. The beds were great, the room had a refrigerator and microwave, a brand new TV with DirectTV service, wifi was reliable and plenty fast. The owner/manager is very friendly and very committed to keeping everything in great condition and super clean. The buffet breakfast does not have hot food, but they have everything else you can think of, including muffins, bagels and cream cheese, English muffins, and all the condiments, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, juices, granola and energy bars to take with you for the day's hike, along with coffee, tea and milk. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area. It's a very short drive to Schroon Lake for dining or groceries. The main lobby and breakfast area has a surprisingly large souvenir shop and a big rack of all the brochures and maps for local attractions. We used it as a basecamp for motorcycle day trips in the area. It was perfect.

Great Motel, incredible value

Stayed one night preparing to hike the Dix Range. Tammy was as hospitable and friendly as could be. When I told her I was leaving at 4:00 am to hike, she offered to give me a boxed breakfast to bring with me.
The room was comfortable and clean. The motel in general was well maintained. Perfect for Adirondack hiking.
I was surprised to find upload and download speeds of 70 to 80 MB per second in my room. I don't know if all the rooms have such fast WiFi, or if it is always this fast but I have never seen such speeds in any hotel I've ever stayed in.

Comfortable and clean rooms, blazing fast WiFi

Last time I was at this motel was pre-renovation in 2016, when I was completing the 46 high peaks.  I returned to hike Allen Mountain with a good friend who is completing his 46. I was treated to an incredible transformation of this motel, staying in the Catawampus Room, which was immaculately clean and very nicely furnished and decorated.  Very nice, comfortable bed and good bathroom.  Kudos to Tammy for a first rate renovation.  I’ll be back.

The room was super clean. The beds were comfortable.
Good basic breakfast.
The motel offers what you need for a good night stay while staying within your budget.
