My name is Victoria. We are pilot cars in wind energy. This is my second year staying here for a wind project. It is older motel but they keep it with country charm. Great beds, clean rooms. The Angler restaurant next door is handy and very good.  Thanks, to the staff at both for allowing us to feel at home.  Sheila, the manager always accommodating. Look forward to next project.

Great stay 

We were up in Searsport for a wedding on July 18th. I had confirmed reservations for the night of the 17th. Made the reservations in late May. Got to the restaurant where you're supposed to check-in, and was informed that they were "over-booked" and would need to go elsewhere...while the gentleman at the register did what he needed to do, and we ended up in Bucksport, I was still charged for this room at Bait's...talk about "havin' your cake and eatin' it too..." I'm presently working with my CC provider to eliminate this false charge, but still, after all that you're gonna charge me?...somewhere else next time I'm up that way...disappointing

Pre-registration and confirmation denied

This specific room I was "presented" was immediately a disaster. First of all the floor looked like an episode of CSI. Secondly the AC unit was literally held together with duct tape, quite surprising that it managed to actually work. The opened fused box next to the door was a tipoff while at the same time all the windows were plastered shut which was a fire hazard. (what was missing were the bars on the windows, as featured in some 3rd world countries). The sad looking TV "hutch" was supported on one side by rocks from the driveway, the entire floor is slanted. The dust bunnies under the bed were kangaroos in addition to the random wadded up sock on top of the unexplainable mirror under the bed. To their credit, our money was refunded upon request. All in all, tragedy nearly averted. 

Not well managed. 

We were delayed checking in by 1/2 hr due to cleaning girl showing up late for work and she was running around barefoot. Had to ask for ice bucket and glasses,toilet paper. Couldn't lock our door......motel mgr finally called locksmith to fix both locks....took him 45 min. No towel bars in bathroom and shower dripping constantly. MOUSE running around floor about 9pm....restaurant/motel desk close @ 8pm. Had to wait 'til 11 AM to talk with mgr to finally get our money back. Weedy and trash just outside our door. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This motel should not even be listed as a motel if you want to have a bad stay where the smell is horrible there  was no door in the small shower the sheets and pillows were stinge like if they were not changed in sometime. the noise is bad and the restaurant next door  is expensive too. This place is very old it needs to be updated and up to code. the floors and carpet was horrible dirty the whole room was very stinky we had leave a window open for the smell to scape.  Bad bad bad.
