Awful from top to bottom. Dirty. Damaged. Old. Unsafe. Bugs. Expensive as hell. But the worst part is... their front desk is closed (yes, closed) overnight with no emergency number. Have a problem? You're out of luck.

We checked in just before closing, got our key and went up to our room, but the key wouldn't open the door and the office had closed. So we went to the room number on the key and it opened, put down our stuff, and went out to find food. When we came back we met the other people with the key to that room, who fortunately were very nice. Also fortunately they were there with a large group with multiple people, so they very kindly let us stay in the room and they stayed somewhere else. There was no staff on property at that hour at all, no one to help, no one to complain to. We had to meet at the office the next morning to figure it all out. I believe the other party got their money back, we had to pay $169/night for a filthy, ancient room that other people had keys to.

RUN AWAY

We didn't stay here at the Glendale Motel but we were looking for a place to stay while in Seaside heights. We did some lookups before heading there, then we stopped by to see about getting a rook as 13 of us were going on vaca. The place looked dumpy outside and the pool chairs were all stained. Tiny pool and place looked run down. As my mom went into the office a guy came out & said he had no electricity but he hadn't even run anything to make it go out. There's way better places around then Glendale motel. Go infront or behind it and find nice places not rundown. We did pay to park across the street which I guess is owned by Glendale motel but that's as far as I'd go for giving that place any $$

Run down looking and dumpy looks like where ud pay to have a few hrs in a room!

Great location,clean rooms,great service..you can see the beach from the balcony.will definitely be back there again.the beds were comfy,the bathroom was big alot of room to shower and change,the whole area was nicely kept.pool was clean,parking was very roomy not right with cars you can easily go in and out with ease.

Quiet & calm & clean

Best location within one block away from the boardwalk, jimmy breakfast, and good restaurant in town, great customer services and willing to help every needs we might have, very clean room air conditioner.

Filthy place. When you enter parking lot, it feels like you are in the hood/ projects. My room smelled like cigarette and my brothers room wouldn't even open. They switched it to another one with no AC and no Remote. When you enter reception, it smells like marijuana. Elevator doesnt work, and there is a party all night. Will never come back. The Hilton 20 mts away was with a cheaper rate.

I wish I could upload the photos I took of the room.  We arrived to NO toilet paper, two towels with no wash clothes for 2 people for a 2-night stay.  No where to hang the toilet paper even if we had it.  The toilet tank lid was white and the toilet itself was tan.  The lid didn't fit, it was just sitting on top.  No towel rack as the one side was missing.  Dead bug on the bathroom floor.  Tub and sink were not clean.  Missing tiles on bathroom floor.  The mirror in the bathroom was missing the silvering about 3" up and on both sides.  Blinds were broken so that anyone who walked by could see in.  Popcorn ceiling peeling and coming down.  The room smelled of cigarette smoke.  We found Mrs. T's pierogies in the refrigerator dated 2019, so it's very apparent they don't check and clean that.  The kitchenette was filthy.  The tv was a 17" circa 1990's Classic.  I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Worst motel we ever stayed at

We had read reviews staff was nice and good value as it's so close to the board walk. It was a last minute get away.
What a horror, the room smelled damp and moldy. The full kitchen was equipped with nothing and was filthy.
So many things wrong:dirty, mold and water stains in ceiling tiles of shower, bed linen thin and stained. Room not vacummed, tv was so old and remote did not work. Outlets did work. The room needed some TLC and updating but it's obvious no one cares,broken bits of siding,rusty radiator. The list is endless but management will do nothing.
We slept and showered in the room but I couldn't stay in there and relax, thank goodness the weather was great and could be outside.
The pool area was near uncovered full garbage bins that the wind blew the top layer of garbage around, cigarette butts littered everywhere.
Price was not reasonable considering the state of the room.

Cheap but not worth staying. Stay away

This is not a top name brand hotel but it was very accommodating. The staff were all so kind. Karen is very understanding and nice. We went back last weekend because we enjoyed ourselves so much. May make this place our yearly family reunion. 

Motel

Rooms were clean and nice! Staff cleaned them daily, pool was very relaxing and kept clean as well. LOCATION is one minute walk to the boardwalk and beach! cute breakfast place right on the corner near it too. Will defiantly be returning here next year!

awesome vacation!

We stayed here with the kids and the place it’s disgusting. Dirty all around with the room having heavy cigarette smell in blankets.i asked if we could stay a little longer and they gave till 1pm to check out but when we came back to check out @ 12:30 pm the room was been cleaned and my stuff were in plastic bags. I confronted the lady and she said " no one told me you were checking out @ 1".Front office said ohh sorry! Really? Never again.
