Checked into my room using a different website. Was easy to check in. Go to my room and was pleasantly surprised that the room was so clean and tidy. The front desk gal  Aasha is very nice and is helpful in anyway she can. The house keeping gal is so happy and helpful to talk to you and answer any questions you may have and take care of anything for your room. I had an unexpected extended stay and I feel it was worth it. If traveling through I’d stay again.

Very comfortable

As we checked in the employee asked for ID on my service dog and there is no such thing as one. She tried to charge for a pet deposit but I explained to the employee that he was a service dog. The employee didn't care that she violated me rights and that she broke federal law. I will never be back

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.  The room was large, furnishings very nice, a coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave were available.  We liked the comfy king-size bed and the large TV.   Adding grab bars in the shower would be a plus.  We were in town for a family wedding and there were a lot of restaurants nearby.

Large room, fresh paint, clean!

We visited Selmer for a family funeral. Several members of our family had rooms at the Motel next to each other.  I did call before our stay to inquire about connecting rooms...but they don't offer that option so we reserved two rooms next door together. 
This is a motel in a very small town with few options available so expectations are not high. 
They advertise a breakfast included with the stay but this is not offered...most likely because of covid. The price should reflect the removal of breakfast but they continue to advertise it online this way and on their sign outside...this is false advertising. I've stayed at several places during the pandemic and breakfast is still offered. Also, the small county of Selmer does not seem to have a mask policy and their covid restrictions are not very strict. 
There was no HOT water. Warm at best...never got hot! Could not have been hotter than 80 degrees. This makes me wonder how they are washing the bed sheets, towels, etc...especially in the middle of a pandemic where those items require sterilization. 
Instead of carpet...there are tile floors. This makes the occupants of rooms over head very loud and you can hear everything. Also makes the rooms much colder. 
The parking lot was full trash and debris....no reason why this can't be picked up daily. 
Housekeeping came at 8am knocking on doors waking everyone that wasn't asleep. This is just rude when checkout is at 11am. Be sure to put your do not disturb sign up the night before. 
We have family in the area and will be looking to stay elsewhere in the future. 

Not impressed 

I stay at many different motels around the world for work and I could tell you by far this has been the worst one I've ever stayed at Grinders going off pressure washers going they had a extension ladder laying against the front bumper of my car to pressure wash a soffit causing the breeze to get all over my Cars Plus everybody else's car at the time of my stay it happens every day we have a secretary that handles are hotels and our secretary called and they tried to tell us no construction is going on clearly there's construction going on everywhere they wouldn't work with us the first night I I checked in I stayed at the front desk for 30 minutes before somebody would wake up to let me in my reserve room on the last day we was there the owner told us to invest in so some ear plugs or leave to another motel

Very rude nosey motel

If you are planning a trip to Shiloh National Battlefield, do not stay in Selmer, TN.  Go to Corinth, MS and come to the battlefield from that direction.  We only saw two motels in Selmer and this was one.  Room was clean.  They advertise free WIFI but it is not connected to the internet.  They advertise a free continental breakfast.  There was almost nothing there.  Hardly 2 cups of milk left in the carton of milk.  One very old banana.  That's it.  Juice machine was very watered down.  Tables were not kept clean and wiped off.  Couldn't find employees.  The only two times we were at the front desk, they were never there.

Below average hotel with no Customer Service

This is an older motel with doors that open to the outside.  It was quiet & the bed was pretty comfortable & the room was clean.  The carpet felt kind of gummy like they didn’t get all the soap out when it was cleaned.  We didn’t try the breakfast. 

Average motel

Clean where it counts, comfortable bed and quiet. Certainly worth the money. We settled for this since we had no reservations but were happy to find this place. Nothing to write home about BUT good rest for the night.
