Make a different choice. The bedding and towels smelled awful, like perfume. We only got a couple of hours of sleep. Between the fragrances on the sheets and the noise from the other rooms, it was a nightmare. Every time sometime spoke in the next rooms it sounded like they were right next to us in our room.  I do not recommend this place and will never stay there again.

Staying at the Sea Treasures Inn was a highlight of our trip to Alaska. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was so convenient. The owner provided lots of good information. We even met a couple in the next room that lives only a couple of hours from us in the Lower 48.

A great Alaskan experience

We stayed in the Shell Room at Sea Treasure Inn.  It is a simple, affordable room with a clean bathroom.  There is a shared kitchen stocked with basic breakfast items.  The owner/staff was friendly.  We stayed one night.  I would definitely stay there again.

Simple, Clean Room in Seward

My daughter and I reserved 2 nights at Sea Treasures Inn not knowing anything about Seward.  The room was well prepared, clean and included comfy beds - all we needed.  The shared kitchen included prep materials for a full breakfast.  It is withing walking distance of everything.  We parked the car and walked to the aquarium, the museum, the harbor and plenty of restaurants.  My only complaint is that the walls are thin and noise is shared.  I would stay again. 

Good place to stay & near everything in Seward

We stayed here at the sea treasurers inn for a couple nights while we were in Seward. Nothing is cheap in Alaska, we found this & the room sounded like it was larger than a basic hotel room. I’m traveling with my father and uncle, all adults and there were only 2 beds, and a recliner in an average bedroom sized space. So we had a tight sleeping arrangement for a couple nights. Otherwise, the room was very clean, it was a super cute space. The shower is huge and the cleaning staff replaces all of the soaps and things daily. The breakfast was very homey and exactly what I would expect in a bed and breakfast. They provide ear plugs and a noise machine which is super helpful for light sleepers. This inn is conveniently located close to the bay and downtown. It made it easy to get to our cruise and find good restaurants! Also they provided a book with all the towns menus so we didn’t have to wander wondering what everyone served. I would definitely stay here again, I was just unprepared for the tight quarters.

Smaller than expected, but super cute

We stayed in the Shell room for 2 nights. The rooms are clean and the location is ideal, very close to Resurrection Bay! 

Only reason for not giving it 5 stars- our room was close to the kitchen and the room smelled like eggs all day! I guess one of the other guests cooked eggs everyday in the common kitchen. 

Good location and clean rooms !

Check-in was very easy, really like the coded door rather than a key.  Room was very clean with a comfortable bed (albeit the frame was quite squeeky).  There is a large balcony for upper rooms that would be great for warm weather
The only negative was around a communal kitchen.  The evening we arrived a large group was cooking fish with a smell that permeated the entire inn.  The next night the same group was then cooking with onions.  We had understood this was a room for breakfasts.  For breakfast there was packaged oatmeal, dry cereal and coffee.  There was no toast or bagels either morning.  We did not contact property management as we did not have time to wait around, but from previous reviews this did not come as a surprise.  Also if you are a light sleeper this may not be the property for you as sound and conversations travel easily between all rooms

Nice Place with good view of water

I can not rave about this place enough! We spent such a long time tracking down rooms for our Alaskan trip, and we are SO glad we settled on this one. Location was great, although most of Seward proper is walkable - hard to pick a bad location. Parking was great, it was excellent to be able to back our car right up to our room when it was raining or we were getting bags in and out. The room itself was adorable, highly themed and very well taken care of. This was definitely the most attended-to room we stayed in during our entire two-week trip. 

The beds were very comfortable, and the sheets exceptional. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the room had anything we would have needed. After hiking up to the Harding Ice Field it was so great to have such a comfortable room to return to. Our days were packed and this definitely felt like a relaxing oasis to recharge in! 

The kitchenette was amazing, and made us wish we had accommodations like this elsewhere in Alaska. We were able to prepare our own breakfasts and get fueled for the day. The kitchenette was shared, but our mornings were so early we never had to dine at the same time as anyone else. We did our best to stay quiet — the walls were pretty thin. We did hear people come in and out in the evenings after we had turned in, but no one was overly loud. 

Seward is one of the most amazing places I've ever traveled to, and the Sea Treasures Inn definitely added to the experience. Highly recommend!!

Perfect retreat!

What a lovely place! We had the 'Mermaid Room' and it was great!  Balcony outside gave a small view of Kachemack Bay. You could see the cruise ships enter and leave Seward Harbor.  Non-residential B & B, but every need is anticipated and met. Would highly recommend!  Very restful and relaxing. About 4 blacks from the waterfront, but the walk is easy and the town is quaint and very friendly. B & B looks newly painted and the outside is so neat and crisp with the blue with white trim!
