I Recommend this place to anyone who wants a safe clean stay with great prices and comfy beds and a great breakfast. The staff members are so friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much for a great experience i will be stopping by again 💗 💕 sincerely a very satisfied customer 😊

Great stay...loves it!!

Friendly staff and clean cool rooms. Pool was nice on a hot day. Close to several eateries and Walmart.

Great stay

The hotel has obviously updated and taken care of the issues other reviews cried about. I have stayed here multiple times in the last few months for work. All rooms have been clean. Staff has been friendly threw all stays. Haven't seen any standing water nor smelled or seen any mold. Have seen the halls being vacuumed multiple times a day. Maybe some people just need to realize ur treated with the respect you give others. Would absolutely stay here and recommend others to as well.

New managment New experience

Room was not cleaned properly, clear straw wrappers on the carpet suggest they did not vacuum. Bathroom was not the cleanest and the bathroom door would not shut all the way. Come to find out, it was broken off the hinges. Property also had some sort of flooding issue a few rooms away so the hallway was completely soaked and began to stink.

Will not stay there again

Day 1 - Upon arriving at Baymont by Wyndham in Shawnee, OK, there was no one at the desk.  I found a door that seemed to be their office, knocked but no one answered.  After waiting a few minutes, I dialed the hotel number which rang a few times then said it was transferring me to the operator which then rang a few times and transferred me back to the original number.  We waited a few more minutes and I called the hotel number with the same results except this time a man came in through the outer entrance and answered it.  I told him I wanted to check in at which time he looked up, realized he had an in-person customer, and we went through the process of checking in.
The door to the room we were assigned was already open when we got there, there were no pillows on the bed, the room smelled bad, and there was a container of plumbing supplies on the sink counter.  We returned to the check-in counter and were given keys to another room which seemed to be okay.
Later that evening, we returned to our room and discovered that the TV remote didn’t work.  I returned to the desk and received two other remotes, neither of which worked.  Then we found the WIFI also didn’t work or was so slow that it gave the impression of not working.   There were not enough working electrical outlets or electronic outlets.  The desk had no outlets and had no light.  The lamp between the two beds had an electrical outlet that was so loose my plug would not work and one of the two electronic outlets did not work.  As far as outlets, we found one electrical outlet on the far wall that worked and the one in the bathroom worked so we were able to make do although not conveniently.  Even with the one bedside lamp and the four ceiling lights, there was not enough lighting in the room.  The window curtain would not close completely so the light from the parking light shown through all night.  On the good side, the beds were comfortable, the pillows were good, the refrigerator and coffee maker worked, we had good hot water, and, although noisy, the A/C worked well.  
Day 2 - My brother informed the desk that the TV still didn’t work.  I went to the breakfast bar which was pathetic.  There was a three-compartment server which had nothing in one and cold tater tots in both of the other two.  I made a waffle which was cooked but was not crisp and was very bland.  On the good side, the juices were cold and tasted good.
We returned that evening to discover the TV still didn’t work.  My brother went to the desk and reported it.   A few minutes later, the desk clerk arrived with several items and ensured that the TV worked before he left.  Third time was a charm.
We also saw that housekeeping had not serviced the room, but did not consider it important at that time.
Day 3 – We decided to skip the hotel breakfast due to the previous day’s experience.  We returned to our room that afternoon and again saw that housekeeping services were not received.  My brother went to the front desk and was able to get clean towels and was told housecleaning was only once a week.  The website for this Baymont boasted “Daily Housecleaning”.
Day4 - We checked out with no issues.  Unfortunately, I believe we were overcharged.  Our experience was not worth the amount paid.  I doubt that I will ever stay in a Baymont by Wyndham in the future.

No hot water management was always out never available to report the problem to guest washing machine was out of order public trash cans running over won’t stay there again not worth the money I paid will pay 5 more a night to have hot water

Traveling

We stayed here in March and we were perfectly happy with our stay. This time, however, was quite different.
Walking in, the room had a very funky smell. We were late enough and too tired to go back to the desk and thought we could live with it. The smell almost got worse. It was evident people had cooked in the room and, after a bit, I recognized the smell as soy sauce. It was difficult for me to get past it.
The room was generally clean but, for some reason, there was a pile of (dirty?) sheets in the closet. I don’t understand how housekeeping missed any of these things.
I think this is our last stay, even though we come through here several times a year. 

Disappointed

Stayed here for an evening after we sold our house and we’re in transition. I think they were in the middle of some upgrades because the lobby was filled with boxes. The lights needed to be replaced throughout the entire first floor…if you want creepy flashing lights that make you think of a horror movie…we’ll here you go. Literally every other light kept flickering. The food for breakfast was okay, that’s what  my kids were most interested in. I would suggest not parking under the awning. It looks like it could fall down at any moment.

I booked this room for a family affair with my family. Truly a disappointing experience. The roaches were disgusting.  Not pleasant to wake up in the morning with roaches crawling  on nightstand and dresser. Room had not been thoroughly cleaned left over food in drawers. Patch on walls had not been painted, half of the electrical outlets did not work.  Breakfast was horrible stale food. My first stay at wyndham and my last. Over $300 for this room was way over priced.  The front desk personel were nice but someone needs to correct the issues at this place.

Horrible.

We were in Shawnee for a family gathering occupying 6 rooms.  All had roaches and suspected bed bugs based on the bites that appeared overnight.  There were open foot packages and crumbs in the dresser drawers.  Two of the TVs didn't work.  The pool was closed.  Breakfast wasn't very good.  Few choices and the bagels were stale.  We are a frequent guest of Wyndham properties.  If this had been our first experience it would have been the last.  When we asked the desk clerk for anything he was pleasant and helpful.  The worst was that when I made the reservations I asked for connecting rooms to accommodate a family of 7 and I was assured that was what I was getting.  When checking in I was told that they don't have any connecting rooms.
