First of all so not come in the fall especially if you are looking for a romantic, scenic and/or fishing escape. The place is very very dated and not great upkeep. The cottages are bare minimum with bathrooms too small to turn around in. The pillows had stains on them. Fish and Wildlife was taking down license plates and being a nuisance. No fish and no help to catch any. They have a two night minimum so when you see the place you can’t run off

I've known about this place for years but was a regular to another resort until it was bought out. Mill Creek Resort has exceeded my expectations. It's peaceful here, which is the main thing I look for when I stay somewhere on the lake. 

The cabin was basic but cozy, I was very comfortable. It had all you really needed to cook meals and also provided grilling utensils. Wifi was a little spotty but that wasn't a problem for me.

Boat dock is nice, especially to sit and watch the sunset.

The owner, Mike, is laid back, friendly, and helpful.

Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking to relax and unwind. This place has found another repeat and regular customer and I'm excited about that.

Quiet Hidden Gem

The cabin itself was attractive & an easy location to find. The view from the cabin wasn't anything to get excited about-only saw a small patch of water at the back off the boat dock, but could see some of the cottages below had a better view. If some of the greenery was trimmed near the water that would help.
t wasn't particularly clean; very dusty, windows dirty with handprints, countertops & sinks spotty and splattered (hard water?)8, splash spots on floor. The cookware was bad with a skillet's nonstick surface peeling and the other not good to cook with either. No saucepans, the only egg turner had a chunk broken off. Went to store & bought something usable. The coffee maker had obviously never had cleaner or vinegar run thru it . It took 25 minutes to run a full pot. The filter basket was caked with coffee debris so I scrubbed it before using it again. Though there was only a broom & dustpan to use, when we left, we definitely left the place cleaner than we found it. 
The guest laundry was terrible. There was one washer marked for guest use in the laundry room on the right side, without lights, making it very dim. The washer barely ran cold water, taking approximately 35 minutes to fill. On hot or warm it ran fine, but I don't like to shrink my clothes. The dryer worked fine. 
The fellow who pointed at the cabin we were staying in was the only staff we saw or spoke to. 
In all it was relatively comfortable, a pretty & convenient location (go down to the water to get full benefit of the view) & quiet. Don't believe we'll be back tho, as, in my opinion, the value doesn't match what we paid.

It was ok

Was a little worried when I booked this because I saw it was a popular fishing resort and we were just looking for a quite place to stay away from all the tourist of Branson,  BUT, we were pleasantly surprise at how clean everything was. Beautiful setting over looking the lake and lots of time to relax and rest. Disappointed that the pool was already closed for the season but was looking forward to sitting around the firepit on the swings in the evening. Unfortunately no fire because the host forgot to bring the wood to us, but still a pleasant evening socializing with other on the porch swings.

Quite and Restful

Very nice, clean and beautiful campground. The people here are very nice. Nice clean showers with excellent water pressure. Water on both sides of the campground. Fantastic view of the lake. Nice boat ramp.

Week of Camping

This is a great place. Rented for the first time and it will not be the last. Lisa and Rob are friendly and welcoming and always available.  They have owned the resort for 15 years and take pride in it and keep all well maintained. The view is great and very serene, right on the water. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. We stayed in a log cabin, it had lots of room. We also saw the 1 and 2 bedroom cottages and they looked good as well. The cottages actually have a better lake view. But the whole place is great and pretty.  It is pretty remote, but it wasn't hard to find. And it is really convenient to Dogwood Canyon. Join the locals at the Nautical Inn for a great breakfast and a good time. What a lovely weekend we had!

awesome resort on Tablerock Lake

Lisa is a fantastic concierge! She has a vast knowledge of the eateries in the area and is a real asset when selecting what shows to choose in Branson! The cabin was spotless as always and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We came for the fall colors that were a bit disappointing. The fun at the campfire made up for it! Lots of great stories and conversation!

Another great experience

We booked this resort on the internet not knowing for sure what we should expect. It is a very remote resort on Tablerock Lake. It is so well maintained and clean. We were so happy when we drove in, and we were greeted by the owner Lisa, who has just gone out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Our Log Cabin is so spacious, beautiful and clean. It is very well stocked with all the essentials. Great boat dock, pool and large deck for anyone's use. Beautiful location in peaceful cove. Could not be more pleased and having a great time.

Mill Creek Resort in Lampe, Mo near Branson

Rob and Lisa run a great resort. Very clean and very well maintained. Great location and beautiful setting. Have pontoon boat for rent for half the price of other rentals. Another guests boat Broke down several miles from the resort Lisa went and towed them in. Above and beyond in my books. Keep up the good work rob and Lisa.
