We had a blast booking house 13 with plenty of room for 5 little girls, 1 boy, and 4 adults!!! Walked to water, had boat in private boat slip, full kitchen, and plenty of space!!! Highly recommend it!!!

Labor day weekend

This is an old resort that has been around for many years.  It is located on the Aunt's Creek arm of the James River leg of Table Rock Lake between mile markers 9 and 10.  The location is really nice particularly in the summer months as it has a north-facing exposure, is nicely shaded, and is nicely landscaped with many cove views for the cabins.  There are two types of accommodations.  There are some relatively new homes that have been built or acquired and they are beautiful with fireplaces, central heat/air, fully stocked kitchen appliances, lofts, several bedrooms, etc.  The smaller, original cabins have been remodeled but have many conveniences of the homes but in crowded spaces!  For example, our bathroom was room for one person and the shower was downright tight for space.  But then again, remember this is an older property and some cabins are just small.  The pool area is really nice and there is a canopy over one end with a gas grill, game table, kiddie pool and jacuzzi .  Each cabin and home had a beautiful deck overlooking the cove and a nice clean Weber grill for each. 
 The dock areas and swim platforms were a traditional setup for Table Rock and there were some really good boat rentals available as well.  The internet was good, not super fast but acceptable and cell phone coverage was fine.  Finally, the staff was very helpful and fun to work with.  So, if you are looking for an old fashion, traditional vacation this is a good choice .

Nostalgia by the Lake

The cabins are very small and pretty basic, but seem to be clean. The "resort" tries to provide amenities such as a swimming pool, play area, etc which are nice for the kids. The boat ramp is at best a challenge! There is a very small ramp with almost no turnaround area to allow you to back your boat into the water. If someone parks their car in the turnaround area, which always seems to be the case, it is near impossible to get the boat aligned with the little ramp!

Talk about a quiet and peaceful vacation spot close to Branson! Check out Groupon too for a deal! 

Me and my family were looking for a place to vacation to Branson on a budget, that would hold 6 of us but be quiet as well and I feel this place hit the spot and more!

We arrived and I was completely taken back by the courteous service and all the accommodations available with the rental, all the cookware, dishes, even paper towels and daily towels, and they are nice too! 

Walking down by the docks and sitting at night with my husband was very peaceful and relaxing and the most quiet we have gotten in a while. 

Speaking of quiet, the whole resort, all weekend was very quiet, not a party place, family place definitely. 

My only complaint is the massive bump going into the resort, I am glad we did not bring out lowered vehicle because it would have not made it, and it's not lowered by much either. Our dodge caravan bottomed out on it, so hopefully if we visit again it will be fixed, because each way in and out is a pretty big bump.

Other than that it was clean, and I felt right at home, away from home.

We loved it

We have stayed here for our family vacation for many years. It is perfectly suited to our needs for fun and relaxation. The location is far enough removed from all the touristy congestion of Branson but close enough if anyone wants to visit there.

We stay in one of the vacation homes that has a lovely view of Table Rock Lake. It is very well set up for our large group with the open floor plan giving plenty of space for multiple families to gather. the kitchen is very well equipped and laid out nicely for our buffet style meals. 

We have noticed a great number of improvements to the property over the last few years, including new flat screen TVs, concrete walkways and many changes to the grounds and maintenance. The pool area is a great spot for the kids to hang out after a day on the lake and for the whole group to gather after meals. The boat docks are very clean and well lit and the swim platform is a good place to hang out during the day.
