I had read the reviews of all the other cheap motels in the area, and I chose this one because it seemed to suck the least of all of them,, lol. It smelled good when I walked in and the carpet looked new, had been vacuumed well, and I didn't see a speck on it. You can tell it is an older motel (reminds me of the cheap apartment I had in college (good enough for the price point). All the furniture was clean. The sink was not super clean but clean enough. the sheets and towels were clean, and that was the most important thing to me!!

As a mature adult, I was not realistically  expecting to walk into a $200 hotel room for $65 a night. If you want that kind of room, you need to pay that kind of price. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but it was not nearly as bad as some of the reviews I had read, at least my room wasn't anyway. For $65, I was actually satisfied with it. 

I do a lot of traveling and most desk clerks are jerks, or at least indifferent at best. The guy at the front desk was very sweet and actually seemed happy to see me and help me. It was nice to be treated well for once! I will definitely stay here again if I ever need to return to the area and need a room on a budget.

I am giving 4 stars instead of 3 because you can't get a better room for this price. If it was more expensive, it would a 3 but I think the price makes it a good deal!

Not as bad as I thought it would be!

I don't remember when I lived there but I was kicked out for having unopened food in my room.Its a dump I will never stay in again. Don't waste your money

It sucks

Clean rooms and great staff.  Even with the Corona restrictions the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Only complaint is the pillows are super soft. So if you like a firm pillow bring one with you. Other than that it was a nice room.  Would definitely stay again

Best hotel

Was passing through Sherman TX to attend a wedding down south. We read earlier reviews and decided to take our chances for a cheap nights stay. We made the wrong choice. When we checked in the receptionist told us she put us in here best room. Would hate to see what they looked like. Drive by this place and pay more. Couldn't upload video of bathtub water running the entire time.

Staff rude rude rooms were very dirty they never change out sheets the towels ive seen carwashs use better towels they wake you up before checkout n when you ask for change they interrogate you this is america we shouldnt have to be treated like that in our own country

Terrible

We arrived in the Sherman area after a big storm and the power was out at the hotel we had reserved. They cancelled our reservation and we had to find a hotel as close to downtown as possible. This one was less than a mile from the square, so we stayed there. It was clean enough and just fine for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't expect much in the way of amenities, like coffee in the room, etc. but for $45 + Tax, it was fine. I don't expect to stay here again but if necessary, it would be OK.

OK for one night

This was a promising choice and in many ways a good one. Very reasonable rate. Excellent staff. Quiet hotel (on this occasion). Ample parking.  It is an older hotel and could use some remodeling. But the ugly was pretty ugly. When we went to use the shower the next morning we saw a patch of black mod the size of a dinner plate over the shower head. And that alone is enough to keep us from returning. Room 111 by the way.

The Good The Bad and the Ugly

This place was clean enough and budget priced. Nothing extra. No hair-drier or breakfast. Stayed with teenagers. Good easy access location, right on the 75. Flat screen TV. Plenty of parking. Front desk person was nice.

friendly check in. quiet room. nice hot showers. pizza delivery. needs more channels on TV. free WiFi no need in calling desk for password.  tryst to give what is asked for. had a very restful night. cheap price. good motel for the price paid.
