We knew with the budget price and location by the airport that his would be a no frills overnight stay. The property has seen a lot of wear and tear, but is currently under renovation. The room was comfortable and fairly clean. The big disappointment was expected breakfast and going down to empty counters at peak breakfast time. Skimpy sausage and eggs, no bread, no cereal, no fruit, no dairy. We had to check out and find another breakfast option which put us in a time crunch and impacted the rest of our day. If they had told us he might before that supplies were limited, we could have adjusted our plans.

Hotel overhaul should include breakfast

We stayed for two nights. On the first night we had to move rooms three times for various reasons: 1. First room heat was set to 85 so we turned it down and opened a window only to find out the window wasn’t secure and that’s a problem since we were in the first floor. 2. The second room was haphazardly slapped together, missing curtains, extremely loud ac unit, only two channels on the tv, but the window could be secured. 3. Our final room change was extremely filthy (see pics from bathroom) and smelled heavily of BO. Plus the room was a nonsmoking room and there was cigarette ashes under a nightstand (see photo). We also encounter large roaches in the hallway and terrible plumbing with the shower/bathtub faucets. It was clear to see they are trying to renovate this hotel. The staff stay to themselves unless there is a problem, or they need your room. Our checkout was for noon, they started coming to the door at 9a to rush us out. Will not be coming back to stay.

Filthy

Most horrible experience at a hotel ever!
Rooms were cancelled without notice, had to rebook online to get discounted price. Went to two rooms and neither of them had been cleaned. People were checking out left and right, rooms had not been cleaned, no heat, no blankets, no hot water, sewage smells, room keys did not work. Night clerk was the rudest I have ever encountered- ended up getting a refund along with other guests and trying to find another hotel at 11:00 pm  Will never stay at o e of these again.

Do not book here- you will regret it!

After reading the recent 1* reviews, I was concerned about my stay.  This post is to provide a good review to provide some "balance" that others have posted.   Perhaps I was fortunate as I had no problems.  
I had just arrived at the airport at 10 am and was checking in early.  The desk agent mentioned that they are underdoing refurbishing part of the hotel, so it took a 15  minutes to find a room.  The room was clean and was clean (hardwood floors).  
The hotel is accross the street from the airport and is about a 10 minute walk.   There is a Waffle House nearby, but no other restaurants of note.  The fitness equipment was fine.  

Hotel was fine, no problems

As a Diamond Choice Member I was very disappointed and will never stay at this location again.
First, the entrance to the hotel was filthy with cigarette butts everywhere.
Next, the front desk agents, both evening and morning, had attitudes, were rude and rolled their eyes when I asked questions or voiced my concerns. I was never recognized as a Choice Privilege member.
There was no water in the vending machines, the front desk clerk had warm bottled water sitting on the floor that she offered. 
When I arrived to my room and went to the bathroom, two roaches were running around.
The TV had limited channels and the picture was distorted.
When I called the front desk, three times, to ask about delivery options and to voice my frustration with the TV, there was no answer.
When I went to check out, the desk clerk was not present and I had to wait until she could be located. I requested a receipt, and I never received one. I was given the same old excuse, the computer is slow.
I said not to worry about it and she made some smart remark.
They are so unprofessional.


DONT STAY HERE - RUDE

The room was horrible n the next room was so so clean….the problem was I had to walk through a hallway nothing but marijuana so strong…then the CSR gave the man behind me keys to someone else room…that did it for me

NASTY/HORRIBLE

This is not the place to stay! My room wasn’t clean,the people at the front desk kept leaving, and someone was smoking at the hotel. I wouldn’t dare come back to this hotel and neither should you ! They should be ashamed of themselves!

I mean, it's an airport hotel- high volume, low amenities, i expected that. I expected to be able to stay in the 1st room assigned to me, but it hadn't been made up or cleaned from last visitor. I expected to be able to stay in the next room assigned to me, but the smoke alarm was chirping. Third time is a charm, right? It was.  I did  not expect an unrepaired ceiling from obvious water damage from the room above. I did not expect no hair dryer. I know, that's a first world problem, but expectations have been set over the last decade for hotels in the Radisson class and above. I also did not expect a plunger under the sink in the bathroom. That was charming. 
I will say the breakfast was good.

Housekeeping should be taught to knock and announce themselves before entering someone's room.  I've never experienced this before but other than that it's a great hotel with good breakfast. Guess there's a 1st for everything
