This is it!  The Beach Club at Siesta Key is situated on a side street walking distance to a ton of great restaurants, bars, and shops.  We never had to drive anywhere during our stay, and that is rare!  There is a trolley available if you would like to take it to Siesta Village, but we just stayed within walking distance since there was so much to offer.  Shawna in the office was terrific and met all our needs.  

We love The Beach Club being a small and quaint condo/hotel, instead of the big high rise ones you see throughout the Keys and Sarasota.  We stayed in Unit 106D with friends and it was perfect!  This great unit, is 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, and is appointed with all the things we needed, including a washer and dryer, dishwasher and full kitchenware, even beach towels. The living room/dining room/kitchen is a nice large area, and has 2 TV's in it.  This unit is updated and very clean and comfortable.

This 2nd floor unit 106D overlooks the pool, in which we never saw anyone in it, nor the pool area.  It was our own private pool and jacuzzi! The pool area has lounge chairs as well patio tables & chairs and also a bbq. They have beach chairs and umbrellas that you can borrow to take to the beach, which we did each day!  It was such a nice feature to offer the guests.

The private beach designated just for The Beach Club is just a short 3 minute walk, accessed thru a gated walkway. The sand is white and beautiful and the water warm!

We will definitely stay here again in this Unit, can't wait to go back!

LOCATION...LOCATION....LOCATION!

Great place by the beach. It was perfectly appointed with everything you need for a fun-filled, carefree getaway. The location is perfect; the unit overlooks the pool and is very close to the beach, shops, and restaurants and just a short trolley ride from the very cool Siesta Key Village. The unit was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The grounds were immaculately kept, manicured, and provided a lush tropical feel. Ryan, the manager was accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend 106D and will definitely return.

FUN, FUN, FUN

Overall not a bad property. I would recommend you stay on the second floor however as we were on the first floor in unit 100 B and could hear the occupants directly above us during the day as well as at night. You clearly hear the flushing of toilets, water running and people walking and moving furniture. We discovered upon our arrival that the water from the faucet in the bathroom trickled  out and produced no hot water. This was reported to the manager who was able to get the problem resolved later that day however that was the last day of our stay. Housekeeping appears to be doing a minimal job at best . We noticed mold growing on the tile in the bathroom and our bare feet were very dirty from walking on the tile floor.  On a positive note it’s a short walk to the beach. 

Unit 100B - Negative experience

My friend and I chose to stay here based on price and location. They offered a good rate and no resort fee, but they do charge you an administration fee, departure cleaning fee and accidental damage protection fee. It was still cheaper then the other properties in the area. This complex made you feel like you were in Key West with all the beautiful tropical plants and trees. There is also a large community of wild bunnies in the area (noticed a lot of people feeding them). 

Our room was 200B, and their website has good pictures of that unit. The decor is a little dark and dated and the rug in the bedroom needs to be replaced with tile. The appliances looked fairly new and the ice maker in the refrigerator never stopped making ice. Best part of the room was the very private outdoor deck which had two wicker chairs and small table. It was perfect for coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. Cushions were old and worn and we were told by management that the were replacing all the outdoor cushions soon. 

There are beach chairs and umbrellas that are available on a first come/first serve basis. Most of the chairs had seen better days but we did notice two new ones in the mix. There pool is nice but small, and you are also allowed to use the pool across the street at Calini Condos much is much larger. 

It is true that there is not much of an area on the beach for the guests of the Beach Club to set up their chairs and umbrellas. I advise you to get to the beach early or after 4:00pm. There is a very small section between the Hyatt property and the property that has all the construction going on. The construction property’s beach has been taken over by the Siesta Beach chair rental company that charges $60.00 for two lounge chairs and an umbrella (ridiculous)!

There is construction going on across the street directly next to the Hyatt. Construction starts at 7:00am and ends at 4:00pm. They do not work on Saturday and Sunday. It didn’t bother our stay at all and we found it entertaining watching the crane in the morning on our deck while eating breakfast. 

There are a few restaurants, bars, liquor store, market and 7-11 all with walking distance. We did not have a car and didn’t need one. We used Johnny’s Free Ride service (they don’t charge a fee but you do need to tip them and they only stay on siesta key) and we used Uber to go off the island.   

We would stay here again in the future as long as we could get a decent rate. There was an issue with Red Tide on a couple of days we were there but it wasn’t terrible. We were told by locals that it was much worse before we got there. Siesta Key is beautiful and we look forward to returning.

Consider staying here!

Overall, would recommend this place, despite a few cons. The good stuff: The location is great and our room was super clean, with lots of space, a decent kitchen, plenty of towels. The beach is a two-minute walk, and there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas available to take with you (just be careful to set up on the narrow strip IN FRONT of all the hotel flags, or you'll get yelled at). The pool is nice, with lots of foliage surrounding it—reminded us of Key West—and there's a good hot tub. 
The cons: Our room was not ready at check-in time, and the manager and staff seemed overwhelmed. Bath amenities are paltry, so BYO soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. While the rooms are nonsmoking, smoking is allowed on the common verandas and at the pool, so the outdoor space tends to reek of smoke. Worst of all, there's a loud motor outdoors that runs 24/7, like a generator or something. It made our pool time really unpleasant, and it was impossible to sit out on our balcony for long because of the noise (the manager said she was trying to get it fixed). On the plus side, you can use the pool at the hotel across the street, and that's much quieter (although no Key Westian foliage).

Decent place, nice pool, super close to beach

This is our first time staying at Siesta Key and weren’t familiar with this type of property. The manager called us the day of check-in to tell us our room was ready-so very nice. We were in 104 right across from the Hyatt. The place was clean and easy. It was steps from the private entrance to the beach which meant less crowds. Easy social distancing. We did not use the pools and were disappointed that we didn’t have a place to sit outside-(Our building only has private sitting areas) we had a two bedroom/ two bath for three people. Plenty of space! The decor is a bit dated and some things are falling apart or need work but location and cleanliness were perfect. The only cons were-only a small area on the beach was designated for this property and the beach chairs and umbrellas have to be carried to the beach-they are standard beach chairs and umbrellas missing pieces. It would be nice to rent or have available lounge chairs and working umbrellas. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyable time at Beach Club

We stayed in a one bedroom unit. Clean but definitely needs updating! The carpet is extremely worn. The sink in the kitchen needs caulking replacement. The unit is tiny and dark. I loved the private balcony and location. At this time there is a building across the lane that is being worked on so we are awake by 7 from the construction noise. 
The kitchen needs a few more dishes and bowls. I know I am being critical but for the money we paid for a 2 week stay, I expected more. 

Lacking

Very mixed feelings about this place. The positives: location is great- super close to awesome beach and restaurants. Pool is nice, but pool furniture needs some attention! Outside of the building and front doors to units are all worn, scuffed and look really ugly. First impression is not good. Unit is ok for 4 people or less- they advertise up to 6 but that would be way too tight. Condition of the interior of unit was not good. Pictures online look good, but in person not so much! Carpets are FILTHY! Walls scuffed, furniture is dirty, kitchen was not clean, dirty and sticky cabinet handles. The beds were beyond uncomfortable. I believe they advertise queen size, but sure felt more like a full size. Regardless, would be ok if they were at least comfortable. There is a pull out couch, but would have been a pain to move the furniture and was probably more uncomfortable than the beds. Bathrooms are ok, just dated and depressing brown walls. No counter space in one of the bathrooms, and no closet, just a couple cabinets with some hanging space for clothes-  it was ok. There are really no bathroom amenities other than a very small bottle of some cheap shower gel- not even sure what it was, but no Kleenex in bathrooms. Not a big deal since most people bring their own “stuff”, but at the very least provide some tissues!!! There is a hair dryer and we did find bottles of used shampoo/conditioner under the sink, looked like it was left there by previous guest.  Beach towels are very small, so bring your own! There is a washer and dryer inside unit, this is a plus!! 
It’s a shame since this place has potential, but clearly owners are not too concerned with maintaining. If you do not care about the condition of a room, then this place is just fine simply because of the location- but for what they charge, this place should be better maintained!!!!

Great location/ Rooms not the best!

good club but boy is the bouncer (shorter fellow around 5’7 short hair) an ass. was completely rude to the females i was with and when i tried coming back in after having a talk with my elderly grandma with alzheimer’s on the phone he was giving me a hard time. would surely suggest it if it wasn’t for the bouncers ! if i was that places management i would hire all new doormen as they have a superiority complex (think they run the show)

While the accommodations were good, getting a spot on the beach is not  good. The Hyatt has claimed all the beach and has left a small section about 40 feet wide at most for all the guest staying in all the locations behind and around it.  The owners of the other resorts need to address the issue. I have been coming to Siesta Key for over ten years and this will be my last trip. The issue with the beach was everywhere. People were walking a long ways from both sides of beach area trying to find a spot.
