This hotel had friendly staff, comfortable beds, and hot breakfast items (waffles). It is no frills and does need updating. There were no outlets near the bed or desk for charging phones/devices, no iron/ironing board, and no conditioner in the bathroom. The price was unbeatable and that’s why we chose it. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Comfortable & affordable

This property is in desperate need of updating.  It is clean and if you don't mind chipped furniture, stained bed covers, old carpet, and musty smells; it's a good deal.  The breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly.

Good price, but you get what you pay for!

i love staying this hotel the people that work morning & mid shift are amazing... well i was staying over this passed weekend checking out on 10-09-22 with the wife, well everything was like normal till we walked in the door around mid night,  my self and my wife was choking of the smell of very bad body odor and what seemed  like a dog kennel.  never have i ever smelled this before, skip to when we wake up, my wife goes to eat breakfast and she pours waffle mix into the cup & it is  dog hair in the mix, she took it to that lady let her know, she told us she was sorry & said she would pour it out.. also let her know we wasnt trying to be rude but the heavy set lady that was working graveyards had a very bad odor coming from her that we could smell in lobby when you walk in, she even had dog hair all on her. i have 2 dog & 3 cats and i never have their hair on me.  I  let morning lady  know that is very unprofessional to allow someone to come to work like she did. she said she will let the manager know. Other than that it was great

NASTY GRAVEYARD LADY, NICE BUT NASTY

Our room was horrible.....dirty/stained floor, room smelled, holes in curtains and blanket on bed, AC unit was very loud. Turned AC unit off several times but the smell, even after spraying lysol, and the heat made it impossible to sleep. Also we couldn't get in the back door which was supposed to be closer to our room. Requested handicap accessible.  We did not want to try a different room at this point; checked out about 3:15 am

Super 8 by Wyndham Kountze Nightmare

Improvements since my stay a year ago. Carpets no longer feel damp.  No longer smell cig smoke in the room I stayed in. 
Like last year,  clean,  great a/c, decent bed, pleasant and courteous staff.  Hopefully an outdoor smoking location can be somewhere besides front near the front entrance in the future. 

Improvements

It is a non-smoking room, but the room I was in reeked of smoke which irritated my allergies.  The pool was not in working order.  The free breakfast is lacking, and if you are gluten intolerant no options for you.  The staff is friendly and very nice.

good price but property reflects

Service was very bad, rooms 
were misrepresented , staff should not be in HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. The  rooms were not cleaned , not what I would expect from Wyndham. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Breakfast is only good thing about place

the property was conveniently looked for the family event we were attending. The registration staff was cordial, friendly and professional. The night clerk staff was able to give us information on how to start are TV. We were experiencing difficulty with finding the correct HMDI setting. The room was clean, and the closet had an de odorize sanitation bag and it provided a pleasant odor. The drain in the bathtub drained slowly and left soap residue film. The mattress was saggy on one side. The pillows were comfortable. The room and floors were clean. The quick breakfast was adequate.

Weekend Stay

Rooms are out dated. Staff makes up for it for the most part I checked In with a friends on the 18th of march around 11pm  & the black lady that was working was rude as hell, and had the strongest smell of alcohol coming from her. So I am like okay maybe she drunk and was called in & was mad about it. Rest of night was okay the but the tub wouldn’t drain and toilet wouldn’t flush. Not wanting to make the lady more mad I just waited till next shift. So now new person is on she was supper nice, I told her what I had a issue with and she said she will get maintenance to come check it out. Okay fine sounds good, or so I thought I waited for about 30-40 minutes and then I have to go out to truck and what do I see the maintenance man washing his truck. Not the 1st time I have came and seen him doing this. I understand it is only so much he can do, but he not even doing what he can cause he worried about washing his truck.

could been better

The front desk clerks Lisa and Latisha are the best. They are so friendly and really down to earth. They treated us like family which made our stay so much better. The place may be a little outdated  but the staff makes up for it. I will definitely be staying here again.
