Passing through and only needed a place to sleep and shower. 
Place was clean, even the AC/heat filters (which I check now every time I enter a room). Bed was comfortable. The front desk was attentive though there was no breakfast at all, contrary to the list of 'amenities'. 

Basic & Clean and Would Stay Here Again

You can tell the rooms have been more recently renovated but it's still a motel off the highway none the less.  I liked the proximity to the attractions around Mammoth Cave and the outdoor pool was nice.  The rooms were clean.  I'd stay there again for that price.

Great Price, nice managers

We stayed here in 2013 and it was the cleanest motel I've ever been to. Upon arriving in April 2021 I knew it was not the same. Sadly our room was nothing like it used to be. The bed sheet had a hole in it. The curtains were beyond dirty. Also, it seems like maybe it's a long term stay motel now as several people appeared to "live" there. New owners since our last visit. The man at the front desk was pleasant but we will not be staying here again.

Not the same Motel

We stayed here because of the reviews of it being clean.  Reserved a room with king size bed but was given a two double bed room, did not like that at all.  The beds were not comfortable but were clean as it was mentioned.  Stink bugs kept showing up in our room.  The walls in the shower wasn't clean.  Bathroom is really small.  Rooms are damp.  WiFi reception was a come and go thing.  No breakfast of any kind, lucky there is a grocery store across the street as well as sandwich shop.  For the same price, we have had lots better.  The people running it were kind and helpful when I had problems getting internet service to do some business work.  Was never able to get on the internet.  There is construction going on across and beside the hotel at this time.

If You Like Clean

Older property with a real key. Clean but not spotless. Ken at the front desk is excellent in customer service.  Bed linens were white.  Beds were comfy. Nice size parking lot 

Room had TV, microwave, fridge all in working order. Had coffee pot in room but didn’t use it.  

Bath linens need to be stain blasted or replaced. They were too dingy and stained. Rooms are clean but need more attention to where dirt and dust accumulate such as corners and baseboards. Thought the price was a bit much for a place in the middle of no where with no amenities. 

Cute older motel

Stayed here 4 days while attending the 25th Anniversary of the Corvette Museum and it was neat to see the parking lot full of Corvettes from all over. The owners were very friendly and helpful and really made the stay enjoyable. Luckily the pool was still open and we used it on two of the very warm days. Across the street, there are a few fast-food restaurants, a grocery store, and an 'old-school' trucker's diner with very good breakfast. The room was clean, the maid service was top-notch, the location is very convenient and the rates can't be beat. We will be staying here again when in the area.

Fantastic Little Motel

Cozy little place (family business), service is excellent, at walking distance of local Diner, went in 2017 for the eclipse, will book again.  Easy to book, close to interstate and a couple of local parks.

Awsome little hotel

This was a last minute stop for us as part of a road trip from FL to KY.  
The man at the front desk could not have been nicer!  I told him we would be arriving around midnight and he said that would be no problem.  I later learned that their office hours are 9a-9p and he had waited for us to arrive!  Customer service like that is hard to find.
The room was very basic but extremely well cared for.  Also, the bathroom could be described as “vintage” due to the age of the fixtures, but they were so well taken care of and in excellent condition. Bed was comfy, water was hot, AC was cool and the whole room was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! 
Do not expect anything fancy and you won’t be disappointed.  This is a great place for an inexpensive, comfortable room.
I will absolutely stay there again!

Just Right!

This is my third time visiting this motel. I can't say enough good about this independent family owned motel. great service, rooms, prices, and they make you feel at home. What more can you ask for? I make it a point to visit these guys every time I am in the area. It is like a home in Kentucky!

Great stay, AGAIN!

We camped the night before and were glad to have a clean room with air conditioning and a working shower.  No frills.  Small television.  Close to Mammoth Cave.  Did not try the pool.  Two tiny bars of soap and a small combination shampoo and conditioner.  Two towels for three guests.
