Since the hotel has recently changed ownership there are upgrades in progress since the previous owners hadn't touched them since the beginning of time. 
This is one of my go-to hotels in the area due to business the fact there is a restaurant next door is extremely helpful. Katy the manager could not be more helpful with our crew when we  call for a block of rooms.
 Breakfast usually is scrambled eggs and sausage waffles juice and milk, coffee. 
They have an indoor pool course it is South Dakota you need that in the winter time. Several jacuzzi suites and mini suites, very good water pressure. 


Yes it is a great Quality inn.

We stayed overnight on a Thursday. We were checked in promptly upon our arrival. The room looked and smelled clean. The AC worked flawlessly. The bed was comfortable. We asked for a room on the 1st floor, and got it. Shower worked without issues. Breakfast was OK, not great. The experience was everything we hoped for.

Did what it was supposed to do

We went to four rooms before getting a room where smell was tolerable. I have never experienced this in a hotel before. One room smelled like wet dog, another like human body odor, another like spoiled food. Our final room while tolerable, was dirty, peeling wallpaper, and soap scum in shower. The beds were saggy and you could see the indent of where people lay to sleep. My guess is this hotel carpeting needs immediate replacement because those smells are ground in, along with mattresses and curtains. Breakfast was limited choices and hot food undercooked and cold. By far the worst stay of out 13 day vacation. Will not be back!

Seriously?

We chose this hotel for the location, but wish I had read the reviews first. The first room we were given had such a strong smell we went back to the desk to ask for another room. It took three more tries to find a room that smelled better - and then we had to open a window. The hotel is older, bathroom was small and although the mattresses were older they were comfortable.. Breakfast was so so, the hot food wasn’t hot. This was our second attempt at a Quality Inn and probably our last.

Disappointed

Breakfast was great!  Staff friendly.  We are two >75-year-old Seniors who prefer elevators but were lucky to have multiple individuals help with our luggage.  Thank-you to the Thursday morning breakfast lady (8/12/22).  We enjoyed the conversation. Also, the price was right for August! ($139.34)

Taren at the front desk was great! Very helpful and accommodating. Offered to bring us more towels if needed. Very nice smile too!  On to the breakfast - Terry taking care of the breakfast area did a great job and was very personable! I was looking at the options and she asked if she could help find or get something something for me. Was very clean and had  comfy beds! Thanks

Clean and very comfortable!

Nice location just 10 minutes outside of Sioux Falls. Clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price. This is not a 4 star hotel, but not the price of one either. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Great location

Older hotel, but well kept.  A few areas could have mild maintenance,  but clean is a welcome.  Suite was wonderful.  Plenty of space to relax after a day of adventures.   Bathroom is a little small, but the hot tub was a welcome surprise for our tired bodies.  Beds comfy. Quiet too.  Our room was by the exit, so thought we may get a little extra noise.  Didn't hear much  Breakast area was adequate.  Hot breakfast as typical for a Quality Inn.

Sleep Heaven

I stayed one night in a non-smoking room with king size bed. The room had a bit of a cigarette smoke smell. My room faced the road and I could hear trucks driving by, but the bed was clean and comfortable and I slept well.

If you have a disability, please don’t stay here. We were here for a wedding and a family member who has a physical disability stayed in a different room that was supposedly accessible. They sat on the shower chair and it collapsed and she sustained bruising. Reason? Someone had tried to repair it from a previous break with a 2 different chair legs. Obviously it didn’t work- great job cutting costs at the expense of your customers Quality Inn. One would think this hotel would at the very least comp their 2 day stay for such an oversight, but no- they offered to comp only ONE night. Horrible management and care for their customers in my opinion- if I were the manager, I would have compensated the 2 nights, comp additional nights for a future visit, and write a sincere apology. But then again, maybe they only treat customers without disabilities differently. SHAME on you Quality Inn of Brandon.
