It was dust free and that’s the only nice thing I can say. 
Don’t ever ever stay at this musty dump! The service is terrible! The rooms are so dated they should be married and widowed by now. The beds are terrible. The a/c is loud AF. No shampoo or conditioner provided like every other hotel/motel. The water is barely warm for showers.  The sheets and towels are stiff as a board and scratchy. They don’t clean your room. They make your bed but you have the same sheets every night of your stay. The telephone books are from 2015. Their parking lot isn’t lit. The sign isn’t lit and the driveway entrances aren’t lit. When two cars are all that’s there on the weekends that should be a sign...stay away!! The people that work there are rude and brainless. I hated this place with every fiber of my being. Worst place I have ever stayed!!!!! When you try to get away for some rest and relaxation and there are 26 rooms and only two are occupied they put them right next to each other and those walls are thin so forget your privacy! Why on earth would an EMPTY motel do that?? None of the old witches who worked there were able to understand that concept! They told me if I didn’t want anyone next to me I should have rented two rooms! In this empty dump you want me to pay for two rooms?? I should have paid more for somewhere nicer, which any place would have been nicer! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STINKY, SMELLY, MUSTY, DIRTY, DISGUSTING MOTEL. Stay at a place that cares about your business and takes pride int it’s appearance. No vintage charm here. The photos I provided are from a Friday night at 11pm. Notice there are NO CARS. And dismal lighting. Probably not very safe!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MUSTY RELIC

We stayed here because it was dog friendly but we were very disappointed in the room, especially given the price.  It was dirty, one of the screens was bent which created an opening for bugs, absolutely no privacy unless the drapes were closed, no clock radio, fridge was unplugged so not ready for things we had just bought that needed to be refrigerated, no toiletries except soap, water temp in shower and sink faucet was erratic, no hair dryer, wifi didn't work, one of the beds sloped down, the windows were dirty, the bedspreads were old and dingy, the furniture was creaky and antiquated.  Even the plastic flowers were wilted. Fortunately it was a quick overnight and we hardly spent time in the room.  Nice people at the front desk but I would not recommend staying here.

Extremely disappointing

We stayed here one night in July 2018. The rooms are circa 1980. They are reasonably clean. The linens are rough. The bars of soap are as basic as you can get. It's inexpensive here, but you get what you pay for. The pool is nice.

In bad need of updating

We absolutely loved our stay at the Coachman! The front desk staff were so amicable and able to give us a lot of good suggestions of where to go and great restaurants. We stayed here for three days. Super comfortable beds and very clean rooms. It was super close to Harwich Port which made our Uber ride very cheap when we went out and the motel was very quiet at nice which we appreciated. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Stay

Is there a rating below “terrible”?? 1960’s furniture (not the cool vintage type), dirty rug, awful blankets and bed spreads (refused to let them touch my skin), ancient TV, horrible AC....and the list of “awfulness” is endless, made worse only by the $200 per night price tag. Like other reviewers, we considered sleeping in our car instead!! Don’t walk, run fast away from this place! Consider yourself warned. 

Unbelievably bad!!

I liked the Coachman.  The room was very clean.  Definitely a vintage vibe.  Let me be clear, this a motel not a hotel-built for the era of family vacations in the woody wagon.  Rooms face a motor court with a nice clean pool in the middle.  The furniture and decor in the room has a very 70's vibe which I enjoyed.  Helga the owner is very friendly and helpful.  She has her 2 German Shepards running around.  My kids enjoyed playing with them.  All in all I enjoyed my stay.  If you are expecting a traditional bland hotel, this place is not for you.
